Bensons cottage wow!!

We had an amazing family week away in Bensons Cottage. Beautifully designed and everything you could possibly need. Perfect location to explore the beautiful Cotswolds areas. Thankyou for the cake and milk what a nice touch!! Will definitely book again.

Perfect Cotswolds stay

Benson Cottage exceeded expectation. Clean, comfortable and quiet, it is ideally located for easy access to many nearby villages without traffic passing by. We had the perfect long weekend and would certainly return again!

A very enjoyable week

Having stayed in hotels since 1999 for Cheltenham Festival week we decided to rent a house this year and we were really pleased with the decision. We are likely to do the same next year.

Another wonderful stay at Benson cottage

We were thrilled to be able to stay for a second time at Benson Cottage. It is a beautiful, well appointed and warm home in the heart of the Cotswolds. A lovely home for a family and we cannot wait to return. We intend to make this our base each time we visit from Australia.

Excellent short break in the Cotswolds.

What an excellent introduction to the Cotswolds. The cottage was very comfortable , loved the layout and location and it was very clean. Thanks for a wonderful stay , I’m sure we will be back !

Beautiful cottage

Bensons Cottage was very spacious, modern and well equipped. Its in a very quiet, pretty location in a small village but also very close to all the Cotswold favourites by car. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend and will gladly return.

Excellent cottage

Short break

Bank Holiday stay

The quiet, village property was a great size for six people with good-sized rooms. We liked the large kitchen island, separate TV room and the en-suite facilities for each bedroom. Beds were comfy (good mattresses) as were sofas and armchairs downstairs with high quality curtains and blinds. This house is lovely in many ways. However, there were details that let the cottage down such as lumpy pillows and a lack of generosity with some features: e.g. toiletries (only hand wash), hairdryer (a basic one only for the house), kitchen towels (thin and previously stained), some pans had seen better days. The owner could easily improve the visitors' experience with attention to the small details. We've stayed at one other cottage with this company that had a lovely sense of luxury throughout so know it can be done.

Family get together

We had a very comfortable stay in Bendon Cottage fitted our family perfectly with a visit to Cheltenham races and a very good Sunday lunch at the Bakers Inn Broad Camden it was well equipped and warm would highly recommend we will return many thanks xx

Our stay at Benson Cottage in Paxford

What a lovely cottage, beautifully decorated and comfortable. I loved waking up in the morning and seeing the baby lambs from my bedroom window. From Benson cottage it was an easy drive to visit all the places that we wanted to see during our stay. I would highly recommend Benson cottage and if we are ever staying in the Cotswolds again I would love to come back to stay.

A lovely house with excellent facilities for a family get together

We found the accommodation to be excellent for our basic requirement of 3 double rooms with at least two bathrooms. Benson cottage provided 2 Kingsize bedrooms with en-suite showers and a master suite with Queensize bed. All comfortable, cozy and well equipped for our week away. We have a family get together every year with a cottage rental, and this was the best accommodation yet. The local village pub was being renovated, which was a shame, but lots of other choices within 15 minute drive. Very quiet location which suited us fine.

Everything we needed

House was well equipped, plenty of room for 5 of us. Enjoyed the two sitting rooms to keep TV watchers from book readers. Local area very interesting Moreton-In-Marsh particularly along with Hidcote and very nice food at Ebrington Arms Only observation that some small decorative touch ups required, but this only being picky.

A lovely stay with friends

We all had a fabulous time. The cottage was well equipped with all the things you need. The only thing I would say is that there is not space for 2 cars at the back at all, so we parked out the front. Also the heating was set so the upstairs was cold .

Long weekend in the Cotswolds

Fabulous holiday cottage in the Cotswolds - we stayed for a long weekend at Benson Cottage (2 couples) and had a lovely time. The cottage is a perfect size, warm, and with high quality fixtures and fittings. The decor is calm yet cosy. Benson cottage is well equipped with everything you could need for a weekend/week away. Only downside was the local pub being closed (due to a fire) so there was no restaurant or pub within walking distance - but not really a major issue!

Short stay but a nice one

We chose Benson cottage as our base bringing with us 2 elderly relatives one being partly wheel chair bound. Ideally a Bungalow would have been better but could not locate one in the area. The steps from the entrance hall x3 were aided by a banister so that was fine and the large down stairs toilet was a major plus. The cottage was well presented and cleane and tidy with an excellent heating system made our stay a pleasant one.

Benson Cottage

Really lovely stay with high quality fixtures and fittings which were much appreciated- as well as the Victoria Sponge thank you . A couple of small things ( didn’t spoil our enjoyment but thought we’d mention) - music system in the lounge , we couldn’t get a radio station tuned in ( and had no tapes or CDs or ability to blue tooth ). The beds were super comfy but would suggest pillow protectors for good measure if possible.

Benson cottage is lovely but a bit noisy next to the road

Benson cottage had everything we needed, the Master bedroom was beautiful and huge! Two living rooms was very luxurious and the kitchen was well equipped and furnished to a very high standard, the garden was private with nice views. The wifi was good enough for us to remote work successfully. The only negative was that the front bedrooms (the Master is at the back) were quite noisy when the traffic started early in the morning as the cottage fronts onto the road.

Family Break

Fantastic cottage. The cottage itself is well kitted out and everything was very clean and fresh with excellent quality bed linen, towels etc. A lovely touch was a welcome cake. Having en-suites to all three bedrooms made it much easier on a multi generational family break, as did having a ‘TV’ room and another sitting room. The location is great - quite rural for walks, but within easy reach of Stratford-upon-Avon and beautiful Cotswold villages. We also met some lovely, welcoming neighbours. We are checking calendars to see when we can re-visit!
