Sugar Beach offers easy access to a man made reef right in front of the condo, or drive to nearby world famous Cane Bay, or the Pier in Fredricksted, for two of the best snorkeling spots on the island. If diving is high on your list, there are many dive shops that can take you to some of the best stops, including the world famous "Cliff" at Cane Bay.

Inside you will find a tastefully remodeled unit with one bedroom, one bath, updated kitchen, living room with sleeper sofa, and flat screen tv. Kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials for eating in or preparing your special beverages.

Sargassum Seaweed Update:

The Caribbean Sea has been experiencing a higher volume of sargassum seaweed in recent years from Florida, to central America, and onto all island in the Caribbean. While the staff removes it daily, the seaweed can pile on the beach. We like to inform our guests because the seaweed could potentially prevent enjoyable use of the water at our beach . If there is seaweed on our beach, there are many other beaches available that will not have any. It depend on the winds and the tide. It comes and goes

This condition is unpredictable on a week-to-week basis and something that is out of our control. As a result, we cannot issue refunds as a result of sargassum.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay 11/10-11/17/2025Dean and Sandy’s place is perfect. Everything you could need all in one place . Had all the necessities that you could need for your stay. The beach access was just outside the back patio. Not a lot of people on the beach , basically had the sea to ourselves (which is what we prefer) The pool was clean and quiet when you wanted to just relax aside from the sea (but why would you not want to listen to waves) The grocery store just around the corner and friendlyMet a few locals that provided some food recommendations. We will definitely be back again next

The condo was just as described, right on the water and had a great sunrise view every morning. The complex was quiet and well maintained. We had a wonderful time. It's location couldn't be beat, a little outside of town, but still close to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the pool and had a great time exploring the island. Parking for the rental car was convenient, as it was directly outside the walkway to the condo. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to St. Croix. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

The place and location was very nice and clean. It was updated and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the pool. The beach was inundated with sargassum. At first it felt a little disappointing, but we were able to travel to so many beautiful beaches around the island and do so many great things. I truly feel that the sargassum didn’t affect our stay. Maybe it even enhanced it by forcing us to go out and explore.

Spectacular

This is an awesome condo. (For a couple) Day 1 the Hot water heater was not working. Dean had the plumber over there within 30 minutes to fix it. Beach front porch. Step out onto the sand. We will be back but maybe not in June. The seaweed arrived and smelt extremely bad the last day but that’s beyond Dean & Sandy’s control.

We enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach Condos. It was clean and comfortable. We had a couple of issues during our stay and I contacted Dean and he handled them as quickly as possible. Great location. Our stay was very peaceful and quite. The property was quite nice also. Stay Left!!!!

Such a great getaway

This condo was exactly as pictured and described. It was RIGHT on the beach which was very quiet with plenty of chairs. It was very stocked and clean. The owners respond very quickly with any questions you might have. I would definitely stay here again!

Anniversary vacation

The view is absolutely gorgeous! The condo is decorated so nice in a beachy, ocean theme which I loved. It was so nice being on the ground level. The condo includes snorkeling equipment so you can go out anytime to check out the sea life. The pool area is very nice and not busy at all! Location is good, only minutes away from downtown Christiansted. Conveniently located in between the West and East side of the island. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on St. Croix!

Loved our stay on St Croix Island!!

Overall we had a really nice stay, condo is just as described and excellent communication from the owner. You can't get any closer to the beach, just outside the back door. Nicely stocked kitchen and bath with a really comfortable bed. Nice and quite location with a great pool area. Nothing negative to say about the condo itself or the amenities. There are a couple inconveniences about the beach area, there's a gentleman responsible for maintaining the area with a bobcat, he would start around 9:00 am and continue through out the day, if you're looking for relaxing time on the beach you may want to look elsewhere. The machine he uses all day, is very very loud and noisy, my wife and I found ourselves laughing out loud at how obnoxious the loud it was. If you're coming from the airport we would recommend stopping at Plaza East and Cost U Less for groceries, if you forget anything Food Town is just down the road. Bring your swim shoes, you'll need them on the beach. The best snorkeling is at The Landing Beach/ Bar and Dorsch Beach, unfortunately we couldn't find any fish at the condo. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward to returning.

Very comfortable stay

Enjoyed this comfortable condo. It is well-equipped, comfortable bed and furniture, beach equipment supplied. Check-in was a bit delayed due to the cleaning crew not being finished, hence the 4 stars. Overall a very good experience. Owner was responsive to any and all questions.

Great Condo Right On Sugar Beach!

We had a great stay at the Sugar Beach condo! The condo was clean, updated, and well equipped. It is in a great location to go anywhere west, east, south. The patio walks right out to the beach with refreshing breezes and an awesome view. The pool was very nice, quiet and never crowded. We had a few ‘user’ issues figuring out how to watch the satellite tv vs. the Roku streaming services, and we inadvertently turned off the hot water heater switch next to the front door thinking it was a light switch that wasn’t working. The owner responded both times very promptly. We really enjoyed our time there and in St. Croix (despite all of the potholes in the roads ).

Beach Paradise

The Condo was amazing. The stay on the 1st floor allowed us to walk out of the condo, straight to the sand and ocean. The beach was maintained, clean and groomed. At times we felt like we had our own personal beach. The amenities made the stay very easy and convenient. We are already talking about our next stay.

This place is SO GREAT!

Listing is JUST AS ADVERTISED, and then-some, too. Y'all, its RIGHT ON the beach. Not next row, not across the road, not down a flight of stairs, walk out the back, down the stoop-steps, take 3 more steps, and BOOM. Owners were available quickly with some answers to questions. Play-toys were here; snorkel and mask, noodles, a float-ring, tennis rackets, a cooler, etc. TV worked well; Roku-controls. Bed Comfy; slept super vacay-long! Kitchen is well-stocked. StX isn't big big, but Sugar beach being centrally located helps. We took pictures of the sunset one night, then enjoyed the sunrise the next morning at Point Udall (wow, what a view). Driving is easy on the left, with a little more concentration.

St Croix

Our stay on St Croix and at this unit was wonderful. This unit checked every box, location, view, very nice stocked unit, proximity to boardwalk, grocery, bars, restaurants, beach. We were told by many of the owner that this unit is the nicest unit in the complex and I would agree. Thank you for a WONDERFUL vacation. St. Croix did not disappoint.
