This property is rather newly-renovated, with a well-appointed kitchen, nice furniture and decor, and a very responsive host. There are issues, however: for summer months, the AC was woefully inadequate, particularly for the 3rd and 4th floors--and there were no "window" AC units as suggested in the property description, just fans and dehumidifiers. There are over 50 narrow steps from ground to top floor--it's a slog with suitcases, and impossible for those with mobility issues. And though the property description waxes poetic about the Over The Rhine area, this property must be in the "run down, we haven't been renovated and painted yet" portion. This is in an "urban" area, where the nearby "homeless/street" population is very active from evening to morning, and can be quite aggressive (from personal experience). Since it is "North of Liberty" many locals we talked with in town were shocked city visitors like us were staying there, and we were strongly urged by many not to be outdoors there at night. Inside it is a beautiful property, but if your urban area experience or comfort level are not properly established, you might want to look farther South, perhaps in the developed and renovated OTR area instead.
