「Nice villa, it was close to the center and the ferry dock. Lots to do and we really enjoyed our stay! 」

「Power went out often on the island, a generator is needed at this property. Out flight was cancelled and we lost a day. I was told we would get credit for that but haven’t received confirmation of that yet. Location is okay, taxi service is a few blocks away, restaurants close. Not sure if I’d return or recommend at this time, still waiting on owner to honor his verbal agreement. But no matter what, a generator is desperately needed to protect a quality experience. 」

「What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views. The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening. Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful! We are planning to return in 2027!」

「This property was absolutely beautiful! The staff greeted us with smiles and made us feel so welcomed. They drive you to your room and the two drivers we had was pleasant and funny. The rooms had everything you could need. We enjoyed the pool, bar and the cafe. Oh and the bartender made his own drink it was delicious! It's close to downtown, if you choose to walk the hill is no joke lol. We will be back for another visit for sure 😊 We recommend the ocean view room with balcony. The vibe in St....

「The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! 」
