It is both in the middle of no where but also a short drive to the small town of Mentone. The house is beautifully furnished and incredibly well kept. "My husband and I wanted to get away for a few days. Hoots Hideaway was just what we needed. Cabin was clean, bed was very comfortable & hot tub was a nice bonus. Address provided took us right to the cabin. We didn’t use any of the cooking utensils, since I wanted a break from that too, but there were plenty of supplies available. Cabin is near Desoto Falls. "Let me start off by saying that VRBO has the house's location incorrect. It makes it look like the house is near the center of Mentone when in actuality it is about 10 minutes east on Lake Lahusage. This is a quaint and tiny lake that's perfect for using the supplied kayaks and paddle boards. The house itself is huge with plenty of room to spread out, spacious decks and living room.
