“A perfect stay and will definitely be back. Easy check in, the rooms, 1 and 2, were fantastic and great for the dogs. The facilities in the room were everything we needed. The bar and restaurant were really well set out and the decor created a nice homely feel, very relaxing. The food was perfect, good portion sized, nicely presented and really good quality. “The host greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming and friendly; assuring us that if we needed anything further to let her know. It was very well equipped: fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster, not forgetting a jug of fresh milk. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Clean room, been partly modernised since my last visit but still somewhat dated and paintwork etc needs touching up. Smart TV in the room this time though it was very slow and while the apps worked, the main live channels didn't seem to. Not anything which really bothered me but may others. Breakfast was cooked to order and fantastic. Friendly staff throughout, speedy check in. A big improvement since my last visit, still a little way to go.”

“Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.”

“Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants”

“Just a hotel for our short stay in the way to Wales. Location beside the high way and only can buy foods from the petrol station nearby. Standard design of Holiday inn hotel group”

“It was a nice place and clean until we pulled the sofa bed out and it was dirty, a quick hover wouldn't have done it any harm. Overall its a nice place to stay, we did try and phone the numbers given to inform of the condition of the sofa bed however not one number was answered, we ended up getting the caretaker, who was 100% helpful”
