「This place was amazing. It was just what we needed to get away from city life for a short while. The property and the cabin were gorgeous. Not having wifi and cell signal was a big selling point for us on the property as we wanted an unplugged weekend. The walking trails and the pond was lovely. Overall we had an amazing time and would recommend staying here. 」

「First we get there horrible service on phone wifi they gave us was wrong so I updated to them the right one. We get it the pool it has a strong chemical smell once my kids get out the have the worst rashes ever due to bacteria in the pool. I tell them they ask my if need them to come check it out and they never did. My babies were in pain with the rashes. There were lots of ants also in the kids room so they had to sleep somewhere else host kept ignoring me 」

「Loved the waterfront view of this property and the backyard seating area is perfectly set up to grill and have dinner outside and watch the beautiful Lake Livingston sunsets. We loved the hammock as well and our pups enjoyed roaming in the backyard too. The property manager was friendly and responsive. 」

「If you want a romantic get away, back to nature. This is paradise. My husband and I came for our anniversary. We work in the city, only had a night to get away. This place has everything. Enjoying a Jacuzzi in a tree house, on a lake is absolutely the coolest thing. The past reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. The hot water is awesome, follow instructions. 「We needed a few days to just get away and be quiet and this was perfect. It is only 2 miles out of Onalaska so whatever you need or forgot is handy, but the location still seems secluded. Wi-Fi and Roku TV included and while rustic, the cabin very quiet and the air conditioning kept things cool. Mornings enjoyed sipping coffee on the deck, watching the wildlife and just relaxing. Location within 30 minutes of the state park which was a very nice day trip.」

「I have never written a review after a stay but this one deserves it. Me and my family choose this place because of its location and abundance of space. This house has it all! Beautiful home that is very well decorated and comfortable regardless of where you choose to sit or sleep. We all really enjoyed the patio set up and the upstairs game room. They had it very well stocked. You can show up here with just your food and start having fun! I will definitely look for this place in the future. 」

「Kitchen had every thing you could possibly need for cooking and baking. Was a shortage of spoons, no kitchen dish towels or dish cloths, 1 trash bag was not enough for a 5 day stay. Coffee pot takes awhile but it will make coffee. Fridge very cold, enough to freeze salad mix, be wary of the bottom drawer. Huge pantry, no light maybe bulb burnt out. Some gnats in almost every room, fly swats are in pantry. Big dinning room plenty of seating. Table legs a bit wobbly, dollar general down the street...

「Bluegill Cottage was amazing. We went here for a quiet relaxing weekend and that is just what we got. From s'mores around the fire to jumping into the lake. Lots of great memories were made here. And the lake house was the perfect size for our group of six. Tuan was also an amazing host! It was taking a little longer than usual to cool off the house and since he couldn't get anyone to come check the air conditioner that day, he did not hesitate to come over & make sure it was running properly....
