Summer is an exceptional host! The house was perfect for our little weekend family getaway. Very clean, cozy, and well stocked. We had a fabulous weekend and are already planning our next visit!
Awesome location. The creek by the house was something my dog absolutely loved. Summer and her parents were very accommodating and kind, and also responded very quick to any questions or issues we had. Would stay again!
We love the place.clean , spacious, very well equipped, great location.definitely will go there again.host Summer very experienced, communicative, the best host I ever dealt with!!!
Everything was perfect with essentials well stocked. The Host thought of everything and we were very pleased with the place. Right across the street from a small stream and less than a mile from quaint Green Mountain Falls. Have brunch at the Pantry if you can.
House was very clean and close to all the places we wanted to visit. Check in and out were super easy and host was very responsive to all our questions.
It was the best experience I’ve had at a VRBO! Summer was so kind and welcoming of my pup my boyfriend and myself ! It was so beautiful and clean and comforting! Highly recommended and likely to be back
The location was perfect for us.
Lots of room for three adults. Cute and exactly as advertised. Summer was thorough and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again.
The cabin is so comfortable from the beds to the couch. It was very well stocked with extra blankets, towels, spices, kitchenware, coffee, soap, lotion, shampoo/conditioner, etc. My son was very excited there was a man and woman scented body wash. Summer was fantastic and went above and beyond helping us with our needs/wants. She was prompt to respond to any question we asked and gave multiple suggestions to activities and places to eat in the area. There is a nice walking trail right outside the cabin. I would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area.
Our initial impressions matched what we actually experienced. Apart from a minor issue, which the host provided a work around for in short order, this place was amazing. Location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit, the hiking nearby was incredible, and the people we came across were really friendly. Our host was awesome and we highly recommend their property for future visitors.
I can't fully explain how amazing this place is. My family and I always like to plan based off location. THIS LOCATION IS HEAVEN! Green Mountain Falls has a nice park area and an amazing Cafe called The Pantry that is a MUST. We had no issues at all. The Host was very communicative, and responds very fastly. The place had everything we need! And let me tell you, as somone who loves central air, you will not need it! I'm already planning my next trip to come back. This location is definitely in my top 3 and I travel often for work and leisure.
The only thing lacking in the kitchen is a blender. The host would have provided one if I asked, but we bought one and we'll keep it as our "travel blender". I love the huge copper sink, the fridge that kept things cold, the dishwasher that worked, two options for coffee and electric tea kettle. The King bed was comfortable, water pressure was good and there was plenty of hot water. I would have liked a closet to use, but the free standing clothes hanging thingy worked. I was thrilled that there was a washer/dryer. The downside was having to stand on a stepstool to have access to the dryer. Only a few items at a time could be dried, but I made it work. There are area rugs throughout. Might be an issue for some, but they could be rolled up and set aside for your stay. The ironing board is a small table top in case anyone cares. The basket of extras in the bathroom was a nice touch. It had bandaids, extra toothbrush, small pkgs of tissues, and floss brushes. Also, circular cotton pads and qtips were in the bathroom. We needed a changeout of towels and set of sheets during our stay. It was taken care of right away. The host responds almost immediately, which is very nice.
Words cannot describe how fantastic this stay was. This was a BIG trip for my friend and I, so we knew it had to be special.
This renovated cabin is cozy, comfortable, in the middle of the wilderness, while also being able to get to and from places very easily.
Colorado Springs and Colorado City are only 20 minutes away if you want to grab a tasty dinner. While parks such as the Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, and Red Rocks are easy drives. Or if you want to keep it local, there's a walking trail right across the street!
Summer was an excellent host and easy to reach in case of problems. The check-in/check-out processes were breezes.
Already talking about coming back!
The property was super clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the peaceful setting right next to the creek and trail, and it was an easy walk into Green Mountain Falls. A great spot for a relaxing stay!
Super clean house, great location to activities in and away from Colorado Springs. Summer was great to check in and make sure we had everything we needed!
We had an amazing stay! The location is perfect - we wish we had planned to stay in the area longer. Summer was an awesome host, she helped us out with great recommendations for dinners and sightseeing.
This cute little cabin was perfect for our short stay. It had everything that we needed with very comfortable beds. The host was wonderful in responding and made us feel very welcomed.
I am truly surprised that a stay can be so awesome. Everything was perfect and above. Totally above our expectations. Thank you, Summer for sharing your home with us. If you are planning a trip here, trust me, this would be the place to stay.
