My husband and I arrived at the motel to be told that we wouldn’t be allowed to check in because we had 3 dogs with us. My problem is that one of those dogs is a trained service dog. I feel he should have been excluded in the 2 dog minimum. Secondly, I had researched pet friendly motels and this motel is listed as allowing 2+ pets on a reputable referral site for people traveling with pets. I will concede that after being denied a room, I looked on the Motel 6 website (the one we had a booking with), and it does state there is a 2 pet limit. Again, one of our 3 dogs traveling is my TRAINED SERVICE ANIMAL! Until now, we have found Motel 6 to be a friendly and affordable option for us and our chihuahua’s. This has never been an issue for us before. We asked why it was this time, and we were simply told that every manager is different. After being exhausted from traveling all day, I was mortified to have to find a new motel, within our budget, for last minute reservations - that allowed our 2 pets and my service dog. I will make changes from now on to always call ahead and make sure there isn’t any breach of policy for the motel owner/management. It is on me for not having done so, but to say I am extremely upset is an understatement. Motel 6 as a chain has always done well by us but this particular owner needs educated on ADA laws. They did at least refund our stay but I still feel wronged because my service animal should not have been counted as a pet in this situation.

Bed was lumpy. Heater was noisy and rattled . Bathroom had suspect, stuff on the door. Trash in all over the premises. Looked like there was a sewer leak above and shoddily patched and painted with splatter on the tiles and floor. The big thing was I was told I could keep my room if I extended the stay through motel 6 which I did and verified the day before. Needless to say I received a knock on my door and told that I needed to vacate the room and move to a different part of the building.

top sheet torn. No comforter or bedspread. paper thin blankets with cigarette holes. Ancient mattresses, lumpy pillows. dirty refrigerator inside and out. hair found on the top of the fridge, at the top of the bathroom drain and on the bathroom sink. Wall lamp not working, curtain rod hanging off hinges, floor was filthy and had hard bits of something that looked like fecal matter and another dark black something on the platform bed frame. I cleaned the entire room and submitted pictures of the filth and filed a complaint to an automated system, a company Motel 6 hires to handle their business complaints. it was snowing and icy and I had requested a downstairs room in advance. receptionist seemed as though she only had one and told me I could park right in front of the door. nope, four doors down. property has surveillance cameras so she knew this. I reported the torn sheet because I have a dog I did not want to get charged. I did not want to change rooms as I have arthritis and did not want to slip on the ice. I left the room immaculate and strip the sheets off the bed and piled them on the beds and gathered used towels for the maid. Mirrors, sink and toilet were clean. Heat was good. the filth gave me the creeps and I couldn't leave fast enough in the morning. Took photos and also photos of how I left the room. how to similar experience in Garden City Kansas a few months ago at Motel 6. Disgusting and I couldn't get out of either place fast enough

Staff treated me terribly. I called to days before my stay and the front desk said "there is no deposit" well 2 days later i show up and after i pay for room they tell me i need to pay a $75 dollar deposit. Well i didnt have that at the time. So i tried to get it, didnt work in time. And i asked them to wave it sense there front desk person misspoke. And they said no. But they offered to let my son(whos autistic and 4), my daughter who is 1 years old and my pregnant wife and I can sleep in our car outside there property until they do audit at 4.. than we had to go. They refused to refund my money or accommodate in any way. They treated me like crap and the weird dude that worked the front desk late at night said "i cant help you, my boss will fire me" and "i wont put my job on the line, my boss is really not accommodating and im not losing my job" and "my boss is very very strict and wont lean for anyone" my question is why work for someone where you have to fear upsetting them, what kind of job security is that. AVOID AT ALLL COST!!!

The room was clean and pleasant. The flashing around the door was largely missing, so the -6F air came in. I used a towel to block some of it.

The staff were wonderful, kind, and accommodating. The room was very clean and the hotel is situated very close to restaurants, gas stations, and other types of shopping that one may need. Five stars all the way around.

Room was sparse. Very institutional.. very loud outside.. stobe light in the parking lot was very annoying.. no lights on outside staircase.. heat was'nt working. At least the shower was hot.. terrible pressure.. cable tv worked..at least my vehicle wasnt broken in to.
