“Amazing location just steps to bars and restaurants. Spacious and clean. Owners have clearly tried to remedy some of the prior complaints. Kitchen is all new and well appointed. Rest of unit is tidy and functional. More a suggestion than a complaint but the next investment should be a smarter/newer TV. Not that I wanted to watch a whole lot of TV but I saw 3 remotes and didn’t bother trying. Really loved Basalt and the unit was great!!!!!!”

“Great condo! Clean, comfortable beds, nice location in downtown Salida. My only complaint is we could never get the Wifi working. If you need a place to work from, this may not be it, but for a nice relaxing stay it is perfect. ”

“Everything was very clean and nice. The check in process was a little vague we had the room code but not the entry and the parking information but Kristin the property manager returned our text in a timely manner. ”

“While this rental has a lot of charm, the two drawbacks were the 1.) super creaky floors and 2.) the thin walls. One guest was sleeping on the top floor and reported hearing the guest on the main floor flossing their teeth. Most guests slept with ear plugs. Additionally, the expectations for guests to clean up (start towels in laundry, state the dishwasher, take out the trash, etc.) PLUS the charged clean up fee gets old after awhile. We were there less than 24 hours, took care of all of the……

“The unit was dated and needs a refresh, tv did not work internet was down the entire time , dead batteries in remote, only 1 ice tray, very dirty and worn living room rug, very hot in the unit even when heat turned down. Moved out 2 days early ”

“We were pleasantly surprised by this clean, cutely decorated villa that had everything you would want/need including nice towels, awesome and comfy bed and sheets as well as a coffee maker and all the kitchen items necessary to cook for yourself even though easy walk to an awesome Detroit style pizza place and the Redstone Inn where you can eat and drink as well as we loved the bar area there to include absolutely awesome eating! Highly recommended!”

“Better toiletries. The toilet paper and tissue paper were terrible. The lotion was watered down and the soap was very cheap. The couch and chair had stains all over them. The faucets were plumbed wrong. You had to turn the tub and kitchen sink to cold in order to get hot water. Definitely pay for convenient location with this rental as the rest was sub par. ”
