“Liked the modern apartment style decor. The view from the balcony is the river where the people can tube down. The water was crystal clean and cool. The rooms were clean and spacious. The master bathroom is especially roomy. There is a washer dryer which is helpful. Eventhough the Waterpark was closed during the week we still had a good time.”

“The cottage that we rented was clean enough, however, the amenities were definitely not up to par. The grounds were obviously not kept up with very well, the community bathrooms need a deep cleaning and the pool water appeared green and had scum floating on the surface. My wife and I decided not to risk it for fear of getting sick. The staff was not present. There is no office for checking in or any other purpose. We are unlikely to visit this location again.”

“Love that the hotel was within walking distance of so many shops and restaurants. The staff was very quick and friendly in accommodating and working with us with any problems we had. Such as the elevator not working part of our stay. They hand carried our luggage down from the 2nd floor. Very prompt when delivering our car from valet parking. Also loved the singing outside on Saturday night. Very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the hotel and plan to stay there again.”

“Rght on the Guadalupe with a very spacious stone deck, tables, pool, BBQ pits and beautiful trees to shade the area. Nice big grass area down by the river. Owners are very accommodating and you can tell they take pride with the upkeep of the rooms and property overall. We stayed 2 nights and had a great time meeting others staying at Horseshoe Riverside. We will be back! Thank you Doc and Wendy for a nice and comfortable getaway.”

“I loved the spot and convince of everything so close that you could walk to it. Such a beautiful area. I do with that had some maintenance on the trees and bushes as it was hard to see the river. Staff was friendly and quick to respond but our room did have some dead bugs when we arrived 😕”
