The local Elk grocery & mercantile store clerks were wonderful and full of ideas to fill our time. We took a trip to Mendocino and Fort Bragg along the beautiful coast. We found this gem, the pics are nice, but the experience of driving up to the place was something you have to experience to fully understand how breath taking view Dan and Laura have. "We had a great time staying at this cozy cabin. We had everything we need, besides we love Fort Bragg. Thanks for the hot tub! We couldn't find the trail that leads to the beach however, because it's so overgrown from this years' rain. But 10 mi beach is just down the road, and MacKerricher. Lots of bear warnings, and who wants to confront a bear? But we never saw one. We didn't leave food out either."

The faucet in the shower needs replaced & the sink is rickety in the bathroom. There were ant bait traps all over the home, and we saw a few ants. The main concern is the entrance to the home.
