All of us love the Hill Country so this place was great.」

「We had a family reunion at Haggsville Hacienda (33 adults, teens, and little kids) for the eclipse. The property was perfect for a large group with a large outdoor kitchen area and pavillion where had all our family meals. The area is beautiful with the river and bluff right there. It was a short walk to the river where we spent a lot of time splashing, slipping and floating. 「This property was perfect for our group. It had a large gathering areas where we could all talk and have fun together for amazing times. It also had casitas for each nuclear group to have private space too. It was great because the Wi-Fi and the pool kept teenagers happy and engaged with each other. It had areas to keep the adults happy all together or for more intimate areas to catch up with others one-on-one. I would definitely stay here again.」

「The property was in a great location, just close enough to the Frio river to not be a hassle to get to and just far enough away to feel someone private and secluded. My party had friends fly in from other states and the site was easy to find and accessible. The pool was a much appreciated amenity after several scorched and long days on the river. If we make our way back down towards Concan I will definitely use this property again. Home was clean and welcoming. Great job.」

「This home is breathtaking! Highly recommend for it's location in Concan (minutes form everything), but not so close that you can hear any neighbors. Absolutely perfect home for a big group or family.」

「This spot is both beautiful and serene. I loved the individual cabins. The outdoor space was gorgeous. The pool was a great size for a bunch of teenagers. The only negative (if you even want to consider it a negative) is there isn't a large living/family room for everyone to gather out in one spot of the heat. Overall, I would definitely recommend this home and I would definitely rent again.」

「We gathered here for a mini family reunion and to enjoy the eclipse. The cabin was great and pretty well matched the description given. Property was clean and well managed. We had a great time and would consider Frio Fun properties again. The only comment would be that the stairs to the bedrooms aren't exactly uniform so we had to be a bit careful going up and down to avoid a misstep. Otherwise, a fantastic place to stay.」

Some of the other reviews mentioned the a/c not keeping up. There are notes near each thermostat telling you exactly how low you can go with the temp. I’m 51. 72 is warm for me but the other guests were ok. We were also on the river during hottest parts of the day. It cooled down nicely at night. 😊」

「The house was nice and had old styling which we loved. The stairs to the river were steep like mentioned in several other reviews but we were all able to get up and down them from ages 5 to 40. River was nice once down there and was perfect depth for 5 and 10 year olds and deep spots were a short walk either way as well as a 4’ waterfall up river. Three of the rooms and a bathroom on the right side of the house are recently renovated but the other rooms are nice as well. I recommend this place...
