“I'm a native English speaker, but some of the hotel staff spoke limited English. I tried to learn as much as I could before my trip, and it was really helpful! I was able to communicate a bit with the staff. Everyone was friendly and took good care of my wife and me. The property was well maintained, and the pool was refreshing, especially considering how hot it was; it was not heated. The breakfast and coffee in the mornings were great, and the hotel was centrally located near stores and……

“The staff is excellent specially Alfonso and Alberto. Good location. The management is very attention to detail; at night they give you a lavender sachet in the day they give you complimentary Nestcafe coffee machine access. The food at the restaurant is delicious at a gourmet level with a fare price. They also have live DJ at the bar. I loved everything about this hotel!”

“Nice basic hotel in Alejuela. It was Christmas time and Alajuela was festively decorated. Many nearby reataurants , walkable friendly city. Less busy than San Jose. Near airport”

“Small room but clean and had everything you need! This was our 5th and final Hotel of our stay in CR and the only hotel with conditioner and a bidet. Towels were the softest as well and the pillows were perfect. Staff was gracious and very helpful. Mini bar type fridge in lobby with gluten free and alcohol options. Being near the airport there was some noise but minimal and the pools little waterfall helped mitigate that. Overall, great place near the airport, and 5 minites from Jumbo car……

“We chose to stay in the treehouse and had an excellent time. It’s very rustic! The pools and hot tubs are quite worn down and we chose not to use them, but we wanted a treehouse experience and boy did we get it for a very reasonable cost. There is a security guard which makes it feel safer. There is a restaurant on site which made it easy. Food was just ok for us. Still giving a great rating because we had such a fun experience. Beds are like rocks and pillows are huge and sucked but for one……

“Peter and his staff were so kind and welcoming, he even stayed up until 1am for our late flight. The only complaint are the beds were pretty stiff, but that’s common in CR. It’s under the flight path of the airport so you will hear the jets every now and then, it can be loud at times. Overall I was very pleased with the sincere kindness we received, that to me means a lot. Thanks!”
