“Great place to stay for Pegasus Bridge ”

“On arrival we were immediately told "no breakfast" which was really disappointing since we had a long journey ahead of us and would have liked at least a coffee to start the day! We ended up at a nearby bar and bought coffee and fortunately, the last 2 croissants they had. The room did not smell very pleasant and we would not stay again.”

“Adequate overnight stop off the afternoon sailing from Portsmouth. You can see the hotel as soon as you exit the dock. Late check in available if the ferry is late. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Quite a basic room, no tea or coffee in the room or bottles of water. Room was small with 2 twin beds. Beds very comfortable and shower good. Breakfast was a good assortment, although there were many comments overheard from the guests if you didn't get breakfast early enough all the hot food was……

“Amazing stay! Lovely beachside hotel with two amazing restaurants! My only comment would be that the caulking around the shower stall base needs a good scrub. Otherwise it was a great stay!”

“Small room, clean. Long stairway, no elevator. No parking however there was space available on the street. Great staff!”

“Close to downtown, easy bus transportation to city centre, safe and secure parking. There was a moldy smell in the building, rooms very small. They claim it is 5 stars, it is not!”

“I have used this hotel several times as an overnight stay before an early morning ferry. It’s perfectly adequate in that context. It’s been recently refurbished since my last visit - they’ve done a nice job. The restaurant next door is very handy and serves good food at reasonable prices .”
