「A 1970s office block converted into a hotel. Rooms are huge by UK standard, both the room and equipment are very clean. Staff is friendly and experienced. The main complaint would be the WiFi - averaging 100-500kb/s, which is slow even by 2010 standards. Certainly need a replacement.
Elevators only stop on even floors, so you would need to walk 1/2 floor up or down to the 1F reception or room (uneven floor for me). Elevator is very fast and there are 3 of them, so no issues at all. The nearby...

「Great place to stay with good facilities. Happy to recommend this for anyone needing a smart, clean place. Has all cooking facilities but we didnt cook.
Nice touch to have teabags and coffee sachets but very frustrating not to have any milk sachets. Meant i had to go hunting for a shop for milk.
Pillo- do consider adding little lastic pots or sachets like you get in McDonalds. Would save tired travellers a little stress.

Appeared great value at first but was awkward to enter, very noisy especially when we were unable to close high windows in bedroom and a disgusting matress and quilt we discovered we were sleeping on when removing sheets, as requested, at the end of our stay.」

「There were several takeaways nearby, and a cafe but otherwise not much shopping. A small co-op about 15 minutes walk away and a mini sainsburys 20 minutes walk. On the other hand the bus stop was right outside and the tram stop only 5 minutes walk so easy to get to the city centre.
But the key problem was communication with the owners. It came across as if it was all automated and they did not really care. I tried to find out about check in as sometimes samller places close check in early. No...
