“Rooms are clean Staff was amazing Parked up close Surprised there was a Pendleton dog bed with bowls and treats. The grounds were well kept.”

“We booked a 1 story villa. It was Very dog friendly, all the villas are on the lake, with direct views and easy access to the lake. Kitchen was very usable, it had most tools needed. the room is aged but cabin cozy. bedroom is a bit small. 8min to lutsen mountains and easy access to superior hiking trails.. very bike friendly area. I would stay again!”

“Mixed review... My first impression.... is it abandoned? Should I cancel my booking?... part of the roof was missing... which was fixed while we were there for over a week. The room was musty smelling but with the wall unit air-conditioner going, it improved. If I stay again, im bringing my air purifier. My eye bags were swollen each morning. No microwave in the room and limited outlets. (Microwave in lobby. )We brought an extension cord so that helped with limited outlets. It was clean,very……

“Lake View”

“We got to stay in a room next to Lake Superior and we had a balcony were we could watch the sunrise. Very beautiful. Only a couple of minutes from Oberg Mountain. FYI they do not serve a full breakfast so plan accordingly!”

“Very quiet resort right on highway 61. Great view of Lk Superior right from the motel room. Enjoyed the firepit. The room was extremely musty, which bothered me a lot - my hair reeked of it. But it was clean, with a newer bathroom. Water was very hard - not recommended to drink. Unique historical perspective and convenient for skiers & hikers.”

“Property right on lake. The outdoor sauna overlooking the lake was great. Fire pits were nice. Easy self check in. Room was a little dated but location was awesome. Would recommend if you are looking for a couple night stay.”

“The hotel appeared to have been recently renovated. Furniture was new as were the linens. The staff was extremely helpful. The rooms all had an outdoor balcony and the views were terrific.”

“It waa a cute place for the one night we were there. Some oddness with lights & outlets. TV only functional for streaming services. Biggest complaint was when I pulled up the drain stopper in the bathtub, it waa full of hair so that was pretty gross.”
