“Stayed in room 210. Overall, I had a great stay. Some things to keep in mind. Since the lodge is right next to Hwy 61, there is a lot of road noise from the constant traffic that is going up and down the shore (the room faced the highway and the window needed to be open to cool it down. The room got a bit warm when the temp was warm outside. Our room did not have airconditioning. There was a portable fan in the room which was a huge help. Be careful crossing the road to visit the lake as Hwy 61……

“Most beautiful view of the lake. The front desk lady is so kind and helpful. Definitely a little rough around the edges but this spot is worth every penny! ”

“Bed was a bit hard for my taste but the pillows were wonderful. Breakfast is a bare minimum. Cereal, toast, bagels, precooked pancakes. Very good deal for the price.”

“Great time at the Gunflint Lodge. The cabin was nice and clean, there are tons of activities daily, and beautiful grounds. They have everything needed for the boundary waters….whether venturing off into the wilderness or just hanging at the lodge. Great family vacation. ”
