“Perfect couple vacation spot. Total privacy at the end of a dirt road. Great decorating touches of the very practical apartment and fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans and cabinet with spices. Bed was very comfortable Two six foot glass doors (separated by a gorgeous stone gas fireplace between them) open up to a partially covered deck with a grill and a fire stove. and a view of a sloping lawn down to the lake. It is a beautiful home and the pictures accurately show the quality of the place. It turned quite cold while we were there so we spent considerable time inside with the grandkids while my son and his wife house-hunted. “The room was clean and tidy and the owners were friendly. However, there were a few issues that detracted from the overall stay. First, the room smelled like cats which could be because there were three cat carriers in the closet. Second, the electrical outlets seemed improperly installed and did not easily work with the various chargers we needed to charge. Third, the photo used to identify the site was taken in a part of the house that we as guests did not even have access to so it seemed……

“We had a great stay up and away from Rt 9. Lynn made us feel right at home. We started each day with the coffee perc she setup for before us (a feat: we wake up early). The golden spud cafe being right down the road was quite nice to have access to.”
