“If you stay here, just know that it’s an older space, but it’s also beautiful. They have a great area to gather and games to play. The property has a proper garden area with lots of places to sit. We would absolutely go back.”

“Excellent hotel, nothing to complain about. Stayed here to go to scafell pike which was around 25 minutes drive away. Also a beach around 10 minutes drive away. Hotel has a large car park, great outdoor space to sit as well. Only down side was we went to pool room and it was locked, got the staff to open it and got change for the table from the bar. Just as we were going to start playing noticed one cue was broken in half and the other the tip was missing. Dart board not in the best condition.……

“Fantastic hotel, lovely staff, delicious food and central location to all the hotspots with a bus stop across the road with a regular bus service to and from all the hotspots. Room for 1 was clean and beautifully decorated but very small which meant that on warm sunny nights the heat builds up making it uncomfortable to get ready and sleep in, easy fix, needs Air Con or a decent fan as the ones in the room were inadequate, however would this stop me returning, absolutely not as everything else……

“Nice place to stay. Coffee shop not far away and walkable - very nice. Need a car as narrow lanes to get to and no footpaths. Service at breakfast on the 1st morning was slow but that was due to the young girl serving. Not there when we arrived and waited 10 minutes before she appeared. Left dirty dishes on tables when she could have easily removed when bringing other dishes etc...She was friendly enough. 2nd morning, totally different service. Lady on duty was attentive……

“Only came in contact with one member of staff at the desk, she was very polite and helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Shower pressure could be better but it's still usable. In a nice location, very quiet at night.”

“Dogs friendly lodge. I do appreciate people in the UK treat their dogs as families. We saw a lot of friendly dogs in the lodge. What a great experience. The breakfast is nice and the receptionist is enthusing to deliver help. ”
