Famous local architect Kay Fisker crowned his work with masterpiece Dronningegården (Queens Courtyard) by 1958. We finished a complete renovation of 9 beautiful apartments in 2024 and the doors are now open for guests to experience how well light and beautiful details play together when done right. The Space:
The spacious living room with a french balcony, carpentry details, a big round dining table and an inviting lounge area makes this apartment feel really good. The 50’s are back and the original design of the apartments in Dronningegården (Queens Courtyard) has been meticulously carried out throughout the renovation of the apartment with lots of historic details and well thought through architectural solutions.
A TOUR OF THE PLACE
From the street entrance take a couple of steps up and you will find the apartment entrance on high ground floor.
You enter straight into the mint colored, brand new and fully equipped kitchen ready for you to host a family dinner. In the morning grab a quick Nespresso coffee to go brewed with the complimentary biodegradable capsules provided. There is a washer and dryer combo machine installed in the kitchen for your dirty laundry.
To the right you enter the living room with a grand dining table for 4 right by the french balcony. The lounge area is complete by the comfortable 3 seater couch that folds out to a high quality queensize (160x200cm) sofabed. From the lounge chair watch your favorite Netflix show on the 50” Smart TV.
To your right a small coat check and further on the always clean and nice looking bathroom with a rainfall shower and hot water that never runs out.
Through the living room you enter the bedroom which also has a nice french balcony to truly enjoy those early summer mornings. The kingsize (180x200cm) bed with a hypoallergenic pillow selection and arm plush comfy perfects this gem of an apartment.
The Neighborhood:
Dronningegården is a true Copenhagen gem with a perfect and quiet location right behind Kongens Have (The Kings Garden) and the cultural hotspot of Kongens Nytorv. The building is from 1958 and was recently declared protected due to its architectural value. The metro station is 7 minutes walking and from there a 12 minute ride to the airport.

Metro station Kongens Nytorv is 8 min. walking away.
