“I grew up on a farm, so I knew what to expect. My family thought it was great! The apartment is actually in the barn, so every morning I was able to open the door and say good morning to the goats and ducks. Our apartment was awesome and very accommodating. We sat by the fire pit every night, loved up the goats, and waded in the creek, such a fun experience. You can also learn to milk a goat!Our hosts also offered classes. Goat milk soap making. “This was so beautiful!! We absolutely loved it. We had a nice fire in the evening, grilled some burgers, and showed off our horrible boating skills (honestly it was fun to just row in circles and laugh, but the river is calm and has lovely views). It is easy to drive to the market for anything you need or other small towns for a day trip. We had minor issues with outside lights but it made it more fun to see things by firelight and fireflies. Thank you!”

“A relaxing getaway! Great home, well kept. Had everything we needed and more. Spent hours watching river and hummingbirds on the front porch! Beautiful, and fun for all, swimming hole at end of road. Would most definitely book again.”

“Stayed as a family of five. Everything was just as advertised. Kitchen was great for cooking and baking, surrounding area was peaceful and beautiful. We had a lot of fun with the ping pong table.The large great room and dining area combined with the selection of board games helped us have some real quality time with relatives we were visiting. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hosts were responsive and helpful.We would definitely stay here again.The only thing is advise to folks who stay……
