Well no lights Monday! No water Tuesday! The pool was dirty the area around the pool was full of debris. The floor hadn't been swept and we couldn't find a vacuum cleaner anywhere in the house. I don't agree with the statement "close to water!" It was a good trip byt not the best we ever had at the OBX!

This house was awesome! This house had a lot of charm and personal touches that stood out out of all the rest. My family and I have been coming down for the last 15 years to vacation and this one was one of our favorites. Some of the pros, beds were so comfortable, master bathrooms were huge, every room had a laundry basket and the living room had throw blankets for all. One of the only negatives was our pool was filthy and cloudy on arrival and never cleared up. The rental company said the pool company would come out, I’m not sure what they did because the pool was still the same after they left. We opted to stay our days at the beach since there are large pine trees over the pool and after 3pm there is zero sun on the pool. The pine trees shed into the pool the entire week so maybe this is why the pool was cloudy. There is an awesome backyard but the grass wasn’t cut for a while. We intended on putting up a volleyball net but due to the grass we didn’t. Regardless this yard has so much potential. Other than the pool and yard it was an awesome stay. We thank the owners from the bottom of our hearts for opening your house for the week. We will definitely consider to stay here our next trip!
