Great Place for a Mini Vacation

Amazing place very accommodating. Just a short drive to the beach and just minutes away from anything you would want to do in Port Aransas. If you need anything they are quick to get you taken care of. Loved the place and would definitely stay again.

Best experience we’ve had

Love, love , love this property. The ease of check-in checkout was so flawless. The garage was huge allowing us to park both vehicles. The condo was furnished and decorated with cute accessories. Fully stocked kitchen allowing us to cook meals and make drinks. If you are a coffee drinker brink k-cups for the Keurig- we forgot. Will definitely stay here again if it is available. Would love to use the elevator next time to transport our ice chest to the top floor.

This unit has a huge garage so plenty of parking and storage for all your beach supplies. The pool is shared but it was very clean and quiet. We had it to ourselves most of our stay. Very short drive to the beach and super close to all restaurants and bars.Looking forward to our next visit!

Great vacation rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Goose’s Roost was the right choice for a rental. The pictures were accurate but it was better in person. Rooms were a great size. Beds were so comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked. This kitchen was equipped with more items than any other rental we have stayed at. It was very relaxing to sit outside in the outdoor patio area. Great location. The elevator was a bonus especially for my disabled parents. Highly recommend this location.

Important details

The property was upgraded and clean, very nice in appearance inside. To clarify for those looking to stay here, the beach is a very short drive and the pool is two doors down. The backyard was overgrown and lacking the bbq grill, the grill is up front and nothing but a very tiny park type grill. The upper deck makes up for the outside space, roomy enough for 8-10 people comfortably. The water pressure on the second floor baths is not sufficient to take a shower. House is well stocked with appliances and cookware. The garage space is huge with plenty of camping and beach chairs, dart board, corn hole, full refrigerator and separate ice machine.

It could be terrific!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve hesitated to review because what we expect might sound nitpicky. This unit was physically very nice and convenient to everything Port A has to offer. For us, this would be a wonderful place for a short stay, however we were there for two months. The problems we had are a short list yet it would keep us from another long term rental. First of all, their cookware was exceptional, All- clad and Wolfgang Puck. There were three sauce pans and about 10 or 11 wonderful skillets and large pots. The three sauce pans had lids.. that’s it. Not a single lid for the beautiful larger pots and skillets. I used baking sheet pans as lids. That’s okay short term but not for two months. The beds are very good quality and bedding and bath linens were abundant. The living room furniture not very nice., seemed very old and dirty looking. Needs updating. Outside furniture needs updating as well. Table on patio was so rusted you couldn’t utilize and the bottom of the legs were so rusty the wrought iron would break off. I understand that coastal conditions can play havoc with outdoor furniture but that’s part of the rental proposition. Especially at this price. As well one of the guest bedroom end tables was missing the bottom portion of a leg. You had to prop it against the wall to keep it upright.A nice large garage was available and the elevator was a big plus. The grievances above are things that can easily be and should be addressed ( in our opinion). It’s really too nice of a place to have these issues.

The one downstairs was great so we just showered downstairs. The kitchen was amazing and the balconies were great. Great location also!

We loved the house and the huge garage!!! The only complaint was the shower heads are horrible.

We loved the lay out and major plus was the elevator so we didn’t have to carry everything up the stairs. Disappointed that there wasn’t a coffee pot, had to go buy one. The shower heads looked great but they weren’t!!! Minor things for an over all good experience.

Fantastic townhome + location + layout

We stayed for three nights at this beautiful home! We had a toddler, infant and 2 adults and this layout worked absolutely perfectly for us. The 3 rooms each have their own king bed and each bathroom is a full. There are multiple porches to sit out on breezy evenings. And there is even an elevator to get you up to the main living floor! The community is Well kept and there is a nice shared pool, however it is pretty small and was crowded majority of the time. Location is close to shopping and restaurants and beach. We would love to stay here again!
