Lovely Beach House

From the moment you walk inside, it felt so comfortable and the decor was perfect This is a spacious house and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Reunion

We had a great stay at the Chic Shack for our small family reunion. We enjoyed the pool, gas grill, ample relaxation space, the well-equipped kitchen, and close proximity to the beach access. Check in and check out were a breeze. Thanks for a great stay!

Great place

The home was very well equipped and very comfortable. It was a couple of blocks from beach. The only things needed was a working toaster and tub in master BR needed better cleaning. Would certainly come back to stay.

Birthday Trip

We rented this home for my birthday trip to spend some time with family and friends for a nice beach getaway. The house was perfect and in a great location! Very spacious and clean. Owner was easy to get ahold of and was accommodating to our needs. We had a great time and loved the heated pool. Definitely would book this house again!

We love it

Lots of space, sleeping rooms, and enjoyed pool. We will definitely book a vacation again with y’all. There was no propane in tank and air filter needed to be changed.

Great Location & Plenty of Room

We booked this trip for my husband's birthday as well as a Labor Day weekend getaway. We had our friends and had plenty of space in the house. The pool was great and the location of property was perfect. The house was clean and had plenty of sleeping space. We did have to wash towels quite often to accommodate everybody but there is a laundry room so that was not an issue. Having an outdoor bathroom by the pool was AWESOME so we did not have to go upstairs every time when we were swimming.

Great Port A Rental

We just returned home after vacationing in Port A and I wanted to take the time to leave a review on the house! I’d definitely recommend this rental property for anyone considering booking it!! It’s in a great convenient location…comfy couch…pool is an actual “regular sized pool” unlike a lot of Port A houses…plus having a bathroom outside by pool was perfect…plenty of pots and pans…and the property host (or whoever we had to contact a couple of times while there) were very accommodating! When we arrived, we got there a few hours early, which wasn’t going to be an issue because we’d planned on walking around town and taking the kids to walk the beach…however…it was pouring rain alllll day! I hate being “that person” that calls to see if an early check in is at all possible (because I know it’s a set time for a reason and I’m sure they get bothered often by people asking) but after speaking to them and explaining having to kill time and keep kids busy, they were so nice and helpful and thanks to cleaning crew already being done, they allowed us to go ahead and check in (forever thankful) The house also comes with a golf cart (so not having to mess with renting one after getting there is so nice) One of the only things I’d change…I wish it had more kitchen towels haha! There was only 2, and unless you want to go through a ton of paper towels, it would have been nice to have a few more, because we had to wash them over and over!
