Our hosts were very gracious and concerned that we had all we needed for a good stay. They even brought us a basket of vegetables from which we made a great soup. We loved the peace and quiet of the area and the views as the daylight changed. So good to have a wash machine and a place to easily dry clothes. This beautiful traditional old Tuscan villa has all the amenities needed for modern life.

Sublime Villa in Tuscany

If you are looking for a perfect Villa in Tuscany, this is it. Set in a magical hillside location, the view from the pool is a magnificent panorama of the Tuscan countryside. The house itself easily has four large double bedrooms and one twin. It's ideal for groups - there's space for large social gatherings as well as different areas to provide privacy for separate groups. We can't wait to go back one day!

Magical location

A wonderful property, submerged in beautiful natural surroundings, the flora and fauna were fantastic. Our whole family were delighted by the swifts, starlings and kestrels nesting at the property, my parents described the place as simply magical. Wonderful location for my Father's 80th birthday celebrations, John and Sabine are welcoming and warm hosts. We all felt very relaxed in this comfortable, spacious home. The outside is as well equipped as inside with lots of seating and a great pool to enjoy. To awake each morning to the view of the woodland and sounds of nature and breath deep, wonderful. A huge thank you to our lovely hosts.

Beautiful Tuscan Villa

I can’t even describe how beautiful this villa is . The first day I walked out of the house into the patio to the smell of wisteria and the sound of bees . It was incredibly relaxing and we fixed wonderful meals and spent time around the pool . There was plenty of room for our family and everyone left feeling rested . There are so many things to do close by. We highly recommend this villa to anyone who will be staying in the region

Hallo zusammen, Wir haben als Freundesgruppe Ende August 9 Tage bei Sabine und John verbracht. Auch wenn das Wetter nicht immer mitgespielt hat, haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Neben vielen Aufenthaltsgelegenheiten im Freien steht einem auch ein großzügiges Wohnzimmer zur Verfügung, in dem man auch verregnete Tage aushalten kann. Das Haus selber ist sehr traditionell eingerichtet, was dem ganzen Urlaub das gewisse Etwas gegeben hat. Küche nicht riesig, aber hat alles was man braucht. Auch die Bäder sind sehr sauber und für die Gruppengröße ausreichend. Der Pool, die Lage im Grünen, alles top. Sabine und John waren sehr angenehme Gastgeber, die sich sogar im Fall eines Insektenstichs sehr hilfsbereit zeigten und eine meiner Freundinnen sogar zum Arzt gefahren haben. (!)Auch die Kommunikation war unkompliziert. Die Lage ist schon ein wenig abgelegen, aber es lässt sich auch einfach sehr gut dort aushalten.Sollte es sich irgendwann mal wieder ausgehen kommen wir sehr gerne wieder! Ganz liebe Grüße,13

Das Haus war für unsere Familienferien perfekt. Es ist sehr gut eingerichtet: Die Küche verfügt über viele Kochutensilien und viel Geschirr, die Betten sind bequem und es ist sauber. Wir haben die Möglichkeit, Wäsche zu waschen geschätzt. Es gibt im Haus zwei Essgelegenheiten und im Garten nochmals zwei Tische - alle gross genug unsere 9-köpfige Familie. Die Aussenanlage ist sehr schön, gepflegt und bot uns viel Abwechslung. Die Kinder konnten ohne Aufsicht spielen, da auch der Pool gut gesichert ist. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch der tolle Pool. Das Haus liegt sehr schön und wir haben die Aussicht und die Ruhe sehr genossen. John und Sabine sind sehr diskrete und freundliche Vermieter. Vielen Dank für den herzlichen Empfang!

Sehr entspannte Tage

Wir hatten sehr entspannte und schöne Tage. Vor allem der große Pool war ein absolutes Highlight. Die Anlage ist sehr schön, weitläufig und es gibt verschiedene Möglichkeiten sich zusammen zu finden. Der Austausch mit den sehr netten Gastgebern war immer freundlich und entspannt.

Paradies in den Bergen

Unglaublich schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Haus, Pool, Weitblick und sehr sehr viel Platz. Der Garten ist großartig mit Salbei, Lavendel und Rosmarinfeldern. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns mit frischen Salat, Gurken, Bohnen und Mangold aus dem eigenen Garten versorgt. Der Pool ist ein Traum! Fantastisk hus og beliggenhed .

Vi var 4 voksne og 4 børn og vi har haft en super skøn ferie. Ejerne af huset tog i mod og var meget behjælpelige. Hbos jeg skal nævne noget som ikke skal have 5 stjerner. Lidt hårde senge . Men ellers var alt perfekt og sikke en udsigt Vi kommer gerne igen. ( lige en blødere seng😊)

Sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung. Etwas abgeschieden in den Bergen, aber das zahlt sich durch eine schöne Umgebung, Wanderwege, spannende Geschichten der freundlichen Gastgeber und ein großes umzäuntes Grundstück aus (was insbesondere für unseren Hund wunderbar war).

Schönes Haus oberhalb von Cortona

Fantastic house away from it all.

We were 2 families (4 adults, 5 children) and we really enjoyed our stay at this fantastic villa for a week. Both the inside and the outside of the villa is decorated with respect to the house and the surroundings. The view of the valley is fantastic. We would gladly, with out any reservations, recommend the house to anyone and we would be happy to come back again.

PRECIOSA CASA EN LA TOSCANA

Hemos pasado unos días muy bonitos en familia en Palazzo Casale. Los dueños muy amables y pendientes de que no nos faltara de nada. Todo muy bien cuidado, y la piscina digna de disfrutarla. Desgraciadamente el tiempo se nos hizo corto...teníamos que habernos quedado más días. Lo único que se nos hacía duro, era el camino a casa. Muchas curvas... Gracias por todo, esperamos volver!

Prachtig huis in zeer rustige omgeving

Een prachtig oud huis met heel veel ruimte, zowel binnen als buiten. Het huis heeft 5 grote slaapkamers met veel kastruimte. Een grote keuken met afwasmachine. Twee grote badkamers, 1 met bad en toilet en 1 met douche en toilet. In het aparte washok (met wasmachine en strijkplank) is nog een apart toilet. Buiten heeft het huis vele plekken waar je heerlijk kunt zitten/liggen. Bv in de 2 hangmatten of in de mooie schommelstoel. Ook bij het zwembad staan lekkere ligbedden. Het huis staat midden tussen de heuvels.

Super séjour en Toscane !

Erg mooi rustige Toscaanse vakantiewoning

Wij hebben met de ganse familie (wij, onze 3 gehuwde kinderen en 4 kleinkinderen 10jr, 7jr, 5mndn en 2 mndn) een schitterende 14-daagse vakantie gehad in deze prachtige woning. Palazzo Casale ligt 10 km boven Cortona, een flinke klim maar de moeite waard met onderweg een prachtig zicht op het Trasimeense Meer. Het uitzicht is prachtig en de ligging staat garant voor een rustige vakantie. Je wordt door de eigenaars hartelijk ontvangen en de woning is perfect proper en van alles voorzien. Er is eetgelegenheid op het overdekt of het pergola-terras, binnen in de gezellige eetkeuken (1ste verdieping) en boven (2de verdieping) in de prachtige living. Geregeld werden wij door Sabine en John verwend met verse groenten en kruiden uit de tuin. Het volleybalveld, de grote tuin en het zwembad maken het vakantieverblijf compleet. Er is in de woning heel wat informatie aanwezig voor uitstappen. Voor wie in het anders toch wel drukke Toscane, een rustig oord zoekt is Palazzo Casale een echte aanrader. Peter en Cecile

Familienurlaub in einem stilvollen Landhaus

Wir haben zwei Wochen in diesem Landhaus mit unserer Familie (8 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder und 2 Babys) gelebt. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig mit einem sehr schönen Wohnzimmer für etwas kühlere Abende. Auch die Terrassen, unter der Pergola oder unter freiem Himmel, sind sehr geräumig und bieten einen herrlichen Blick auf die Landschaft. Der Garten ist ebenso sehr schön auf dem Hang gelegen und bietet genügend Platz für Rückzugsmöglichkeiten (z.B. in der Hängematte). Für Abkühlung sorgt der Pool und im Liegestuhl duftet es nach Lavendel, der gleich nebenan üppig wächst. Kurz gesagt: alles ist vorhanden um einen wundervollen Urlaub zu erleben!

A beautiful property in an amazing setting.

We had a fabulous time in our 3 weeks at Casale Palazzo. We were travelling through Italy with a 4 year old, 2 year old and 6 month old and had arranged for two separate groups of friends to come and visit us while we were there. At the most we had two other adults with a 12 year old, 10 year old and an 8 year old. The first thing to say is that the house has an incredible view…mountains, greenery, and barely another house in sight. The house is a beautiful old villa that has been lovingly restored over decades by the owners, John and Sabine, who are on hand to offer advice on things to do, and- in our case- kindly had our children get involved in helping with planting the veggie garden and tractor rides!! The house is fully equipped with everything we could think of (and easily sleeps two families with lots of space), and the grounds are fantastic- a lovely big sun terrace, an expansive front garden, an area with hammocks, a huge grassy paddock (once a menagerie) now equipped with a volleyball/football/badminton net, a lovely pool with plenty of sun loungers…and views that are extraordinary in every light. The house is 10 km up a mountain road, but the drive is easy, and the location well worth it. It is close to Cortona, a beautiful walled town (setting for Under Tuscan Sun film), and trips to Montepulciano, Sienna, Florence, Rome, the hot pools at Rappolano Terme, and lots of other places are all within distance…and if we could handle it with three small children in the car, it should be fine for you!! It is a true destination property. We were very sad to leave!
