Quiet Cottage in the Country

Summary:

Fully remodeled this cute studio cottage sits on a quiet 20 acres in the country. Unobstructed, stunning views, ponds to stroll around and great quiet roadways to walk or bike. Located just outside of Cove you can expect to see wildlife a plenty. Disconnect from the world and connect with loved ones. Price includes local occupancy tax.

The Space:

Decorated in a rustic farmhouse feel but with all the amenities, AC, Wifi, fridge, dishwasher, Keurig and toaster oven help keep it modern. You'll see grey and wood undertones complete with shiplap and butcher block. This cottage is so cute and charming and warm. We have fallen in love with it and we know you will too.

Guest Access:

The cottage is all access pass. If you are having an extended stay we would be happy to talk about laundry options. Feel free to hang out in the yard around the cottage and stroll by the ponds and in the fields out back but please stay out of any out buildings and close all gates you might cross through.

Guest Interaction:

My cohost Rebekah and I would love to get you settled in and hear what your plans are for your time here. We are pretty busy with our 11 kids, homemaking, property upkeep and work but if we're around we would love to visit! But don't feel like you're hurting our feelings if we don't get to chat for long! We are happy and would love to answer any questions about the area and where we think you should eat ;o)

The "Cottage" sits in the middle of the farm yard, so the renter shares space with the owners. We spent most of our time in Cove away from the rental visiting a friend at another site. Consequently we didn't experience what the rental like during the day. It was a nice walk from the site to where our friend was staying. The only downsides were a small aggressive dog and a sprinkler set over the parking site so we couldn't park without getting wet.

Quaint and quiet

Spent 4 days in Cove, went over to Lagrande to MERA. Pretty much stayed around the cottage and chilled due to hot weather but relaxing and rejuvenating. Enjoyed talking to Sue and Leah. Highly recommend.

Comfortable and Peaceful Cottage

My husband and I just spent five nights in this cottage on the farm. The cottage is beautifully decorated and the queen size bed is very comfortable. Everything was sparkling clean. The owners are very accommodating and friendly, and they made sure we had everything we needed. We were able to explore Eastern Oregon from this location with trips to Joseph, Wallowa Lake and Hells Canyon. We rode out bikes on the paved roads and felt very safe. We would like to return to the cottage for another stay in the future.

Beautifully outfitted cottage enhanced our family trip to visit daughter. Her home was filled with other family so this provided a close proximity & downtime from the crowd! Great contact w/managers but plenty of privacy.

This is a very tranquil and peaceful setting in the country. This little red cottage is very special in that its quaint, cozy, and the minute you walk in the peace and relaxation enfold you. The décor is lovely down to the dishes. I wish this type of lodging was available everywhere as its 100% better than any hotel/motel anywhere anyday...We will definitely be back. The owners are very nice and very hospitable and want to make sure all needs are being taken care. Love it, love it. love it

Great Stay for Newlyweds

We stayed here the night we got married. The only downside is that we didn't get to stay longer! The property was super clean, it had everything we could need, there were helpful labels that enabled us to find everything with ease, and they left us muffins! Also, friendliest farm cats ever. Thank you for a wonderful wedding night stay!

Upscale Country Cabin with Friendly Hosts

The property is set on beautiful farmland, and though the cottage is small, it has been lovingly and beautifully updated to be an upscale haven. The adults loved the clean, bright bathroom, bedroom, and small kitchen (complete with treats and a coffee bar), and the kids loved the idyllic setting. We arrived late, and Leah greeted us. We slept in, had a cup of hot cocoa, then we walked around the property to admire the flowers and wildlife. Even though we only stayed one night, we had a great time, and the kids are still talking about it! The wifi was good, though we didn't use it much. We really enjoyed the quiet for a night and a morning. We even left a pillow behind by accident, and Leah shipped it to us free of charge (though we offered to cover the cost).

Great little cabin

My wife and I were heading back to Boise and found this little gem. Very cozy and comfortable. We first thought that the no tv might be an issue. After all we enjoy watching movies after we settle down. But it wasn’t. We stayed up until 2 am talking, having some drinks and playing games. We had a great time. The hosts were great and very welcoming. Definitely will be back.

Cozy comfy cottage

This cottage was so cozy and comfortable for my family of four. Our two kids loved seeing the animals and running around in the open field. All the little touches, from the decorations to the coffee, hot cocoa, and tea, to the antique pieces used as furniture made this place extra special. The owners were super kind, which we so appreciated. Thanks for sharing your space! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful cottage

Had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Beautifully decorated and so clean. It was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer. Also enjoyed the muffins, coffee and O.J. Ate supper at the local steakhouse and it was very good.
