"Pleasantly surprised for a very reasonable price. Rooms very clean bed comfortable very quiet no traffic noise staff very friendly. Perhaps for me personally not much around the hotel for eating purposes and the hotels menu limited. Breakfast adequate but had better. But if your looking for a cheaper option this us the perfect choice. Great vskue for money"
"Big thumbs up for the Village Hotel! 🙌
A huge thank you to Olivia on reception, who went above and beyond to help me during a really stressful situation. The office had booked me in for the wrong day, and to make things worse, the hire van I was driving had a faulty key — with my locked phone still inside!
Olivia didn’t hesitate to step in. She used her personal phone to help search for a solution, and thanks to her calm and proactive attitude, we managed to get it sorted. She was absolutely brilliant — a real asset to the Village team!
Also want to give a shoutout to the night staff, who were really helpful and friendly too.
Thanks again to everyone — you turned a stressful situation into a great customer experience. 👏"
"Good location- walking distance to Coventry Station and nearby retail park. Loads of dining options closeby. Delicious full English! Friendly staff! Room was upgraded which is a bonus! "
"This studio apartment near Coventry Cathedral is a rare gem. The location is outstanding—it’s the closest you can stay to the cathedral. The space was clean and well-kept, with a compact but functional kitchen. The price was very reasonable. I’d definitely stay here again!"
"Would not stay here again. Towels & linens were clean & smelled nice. Property did not match conditions of photos. In bad need of updates. Parking permit was “free” only after providing a deposit even though limited on-street parking was available."
