The village of Bacova (a contraction of Bath County Virginia) was built by the Tidewater Lumber Company to support its lumber mill operation n the 1920's and was later purchased by the founder of The Bacova Guild in the late 1950's. Now the charming residential neighborhood is filled with hard-working families, retirees, and vacationers, like you! Enjoy walking the quiet streets of the village, taking your children to the playground. chatting with neighbors, or heading out to explore the great outdoors in the beautiful Alleghany mountains.

This cozy two bedroom, one bath home is the perfect getaway spot for couples or small families! The cottage is pristinely clean and has everything needed to serve as home base for your Bath County adventure! There is a comfortable living room with a large screen SMART TV with ROKU. Be sure to bring your log-ins for your personal favorite streaming services like Netflix or Hulu. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking in and a gas grill in the backyard is available for cooking out! There is a laundry room available off the kitchen as well! The yard is large and flat for kids to run around and play and there is a fire pit in the yard for nights filled with stargazing and s'mores! Just down the back road of the cottage is small playground with swings, teeter-totters, slides, merry-go-round and more!

Bacova is just 5 minutes from Warm Springs, 10 minutes from Hot Springs and close to a full array of outdoor adventures - explore Lake Moomaw by boat, hike the trails in Hidden Valley, bike along the Jackson River Scenic Trail, swim in a hidden river hole at Blowing Springs, golf at the famed Omni Homestead Resort. There are wonderful restaurants nearby as well as a local cidery, brewery, and winery!

This cottage is pet friendly, welcoming dogs only. ($100 pet fee applies) There is a $100 cleaning fee in addition to the posted rental rates.
