「Lovely Victorian hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a classic double room which was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The gardens were beautiful. It was rather hot in the bedroom but thankfully we could open the windows wide. All in all a lovely place to stay.」

The mirror was chipped and the paintwork near the bath needed attention. The restaurant is lovely, although the pudding had a hair cooked into the biscuit. The grounds of the hotel are lovely. 「Car parking is charged at £5 a day even though in the rooms weekend parking is free. Reception stated it was out of date. Didn’t bother finding what else was out of date! Otherwise seemed ok」

「This is a beautiful house close to the harbor. We had a triple room with bathroom. Good size room, I wish my room in Edinburgh looked like this. The whole property is spotless and up to date. The hosts are very nice and helpful and serve a good breakfast with lots of options. It's worth spending more time and relax in the chill Stonehaven. They have on site parking.」

「Everything about this experience was so unique and warm. It made our stay in Stonehaven so memorable! Everything is so clean. The room even came with a fan which my husband relies on at home. The kitchen is well equipped to cook your food if needed and the option to use the clothes washer was a huge bonus. Breakfast options were plenty and the coffee machine was exactly what I needed!」

「The check in process took us 3 hours in total. We were not sent the check in instructions and when we tried to call the number listed there was no one connected. After waiting 2.5 hours someone connected and when we managed to talk to her she then couldn’t get the lockbox code which took another 30 minutes 」
