This property is a historic structure in the heart of Downtown Crested Butte. The original cabin
was moved from the town of Irwin in the late 1890’s. It was fully renovated, with a bedroom and
family room addition in 2022. Everything was updated and modernized resulting in a charming
mixture of the old and the new.
The location
This property is centered between 3rd and 4th streets on Whiterock Ave. This puts it two blocks
from the shops and restaurants on Elk Avenue, two blocks from the grocery and health food
markets. Two blocks from the movie theatre, in one direction and the skateboard park in the
other direction. The Center for the Arts is at the end of the street with performances and
Alpenglow all summer. And, being on Whiterock, it is 50’ from the town bus stop at the corner of
4th .
It is within walking distance of everything, and what you can’t walk to the town and county bus
systems will take you there for free.
Once you get to 320 Whiterock you can put your cars in the driveway and leave them behind.
The space
There are two large bedroom suites in the house, either can have the queen bed replaced with
two twin beds. The upstairs bedroom has a wooden cathedral ceiling and a large bathroom
down a hall. The down stairs bedroom suite has the private bathroom connected.
In addition the house has a front living room, with a two story ceiling, dinning, country kitchen
and family room on the ground floor. There is an office upstairs and a work nitch off the family
room.
The property
The yard is beautifully landscaped, and maintained, with flower and vegetable gardens. There is
a hot tub, outside the rear family room door, and a picnic and gas grill area at the end of the
driveway.
There are 3 off street parking spaces in addition to the on street parking in front of the house.
