"We had a balcony view that was amazing. 2 chairs to watch the sunrise was awesome too! Beach was nice and chairs available outside as well. The room was clean and beds were comfortable! Minor details like cleaning out the wall shades that had bugs in it but my guess is other guests leave the balcony door open which can attract many bugs on the water in the summer. Cobwebs outside on balcony but that’s expected also. We were very pleased staying, walking distance to Arnold Ferry and shops! You can also have a bonfire on the beach which was pretty cool too!’"

"Amazing view from the balcony of the bridge, islands, and Lake Huron. Very safe and kid friendly hotel. Clean room with alot of space. Comfortable beds and pillows! Plenty of outlets for chargers. Close to everything - walking distance to Arnold's ferry. Shower was great (hot and clean), big mirror in bathroom and well lit. Pool and hot tub open late. Big fridge and microwave worked great. Breakfast was just ok, but the same thing everyday (heat-and-eat ham, eggs, pancakes). And only available for 2hrs 7a- 9a. Wifi in the beachfront rooms is non-existent. Bring a hot spot if you have one or you get zero TV. Room was in need of minor repairs (mold on bathroom ceiling, bathroom door wouldn't close all the way, A/C unit was not very cold so ran all night)."

"Older but nicely remodeled motel, with lovely grounds. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was very small but clean and functional (seemed like they saved money by not remodeling that). Several firepits with comfy chairs (and firewood to build your own fire). Convenient location close to the ferries to Mackinaw Island (and shuttles available if you don't want to pay to park your car). Only downside is the free breakfast, which was quite basic. No oatmeal (instant or made), two kinds of sugar cereal (no non-sugar varieties), whole milk only (no low fat or skim), .... There's a nice cafe across the road that has many good choices, but obviously not free."
