The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"

"Despite the rain we had a fantastic time in this excellent property. Well equipped and maintained professionally. My wife has limited mobility and was able to move around the property using sticks and a walker with no issues. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower which she could easily use with a shower seat as she was able to walk right up with the walker. "This was a wonderful house in a wonderful location. Almost magical-views out every window, well stocked. A virtual rabbits warren of thick walled rooms well decorated and festive for the holidays. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Loved the walking paths outside and the playground across the street. Clean and comfortable."

Access to lake windermere was amazing and it felt very private. A few problem with upstairs shower but maintenence person turned up immediately. Would stay again"

The view of Morecambe Bay was outstanding from the lounge and bedroom where we had morning coffee to watch the sunrise and gin & tonic to watch the sunset very relaxing. All the rooms were a good size loads of storage.The kitchen has everything you need including 2 hobs & a very large fridge freezer. Quiet locaction but only a short walk to the centre of Grange."
