「We stayed at Sapphire Beach Resort in St. Maarten and unfortunately the first room we were given was very disappointing. It clearly needed renovation, everything looked old and scratched, there was no hot water, and the bathroom is in serious need of a full update. Even the fridge was very outdated and not appealing. This left us with a very negative first impression and affected our first day. We requested to be moved and were given another room, which was much better. It appeared newly...

「Perfect location. Mike met us at the security gate and gave us a full tour of the property. The penthouse was perfect. Everything was clean, organized and ready for us to enjoy. Restaurants, grocery, beaches, etc... nearby within a few minutes walk. 3 pools (1 saltwater) and a private beach gave us a plenty of room to lounge. The property grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. Wonderful place and experience. This was truly amazing. 」

「Overall the entire facility is dated. The photos were deceiving. The photos are taken at an angle that doesn’t show the roofs that you are looking down across and they are in bad shape. If you have a mobility problem the tubs are very hard to get in and out of. Beach is extremely narrow and not a lot of space.It’s a very quiet area with plenty of parking and very easy to get to. 「The host is easy to contact and prompt in addressing concerns / accomodating our requests. Great location; well-furnished studio. The terrace / balcony is a nice feature. The rooster’s calls throughout the day give the neighborhood (American University - Medical School) a resting / home bound / country side air. The near-by Carrefour store, French bakery and Fat Tony’s bar / restaurant add much value. 」

「This was our 3rd stay at Rainbow Beach club. First time in this unit. We arrived early due to our flight being ahead of schedule. Had to call the owner Mike as the lock was time delayed. Once inside the unit it was very warm and we had to call Mike as the AC was turned off and we couldn’t get it to turn on. The unit was clean. The next day the fridge stopped working.Mike instructed us to turn the fridge off to defrost it which was problematic as we had just been to Super U and bought groceries...
