"It’s a charming hotel in a great location in the garden district. The trolley runs right outside the door. Beds were comfortable, room spacious and the air conditioning very noisy. The meals we ate were delicious. My biggest complaint was the staff. We asked for things multiple times and by the end of our stay had still not received what we asked for."

"Not a fancy place but oh yes, excellent place if you are looking for a homely environment that’s very clean and wonderful staff. The room at this place was really huge and very clean. I usually never take a bath but I did at this place, so you can tell how clean this place was. There’s a good Chinese restaurant across the street. Overall, i liked this place a lot. Mostly if you are traveling solo, business trip or looking for budget place but 5star cleanliness/friendly front desk staff…book at the Riverside Hotel"

"Parking was the easing thing, just front to the and including in the booking. Clean room, amazing staff - they allowed me to stay little longer while checking out, I mistakenly under booked my stay, they understood and let me stay a couple more hours while I figured out what to do; so 5 stars for the staff…i will def stay at Alder the next time I visit New Orleans"
