Character hotel that takes you crack to somewhere around 1965 - in a good way!
Had everything we needed, including a good sized balcony (rare along the beachfront) with terrific panoramic views of the coastline. Great location, right across the street from the beach, with a crosswalk right at the doorstep. Crossing the street is easy. Staff were attentive and in good spirits. It’s been a couple years since covid started, so tourism is just beginning to ramp up, thus the breakfast buffet was replaced by a terrific traditional Viet breakfast on a couple days (a surprise which absolutely thrilled us), and the pool/rooftop bar weren’t operating, but again, that was ok with us. It takes money to run those things & it takes guests to bring in the money; it will all come (Vietnam only opened up to tourism six months ago).
Overall, five stars! Great hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again on our next trip!
