Great quiet location. Close to the ancient city which is walkable. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the city and the beach which is great. Breakfast varied and plentiful. Had an evening meal at the hotel which was great and a good price. Staff all lovely and helpful. Would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay and reasonably priced.

Tranquil and scenic! A lovely stay!
Fantastic stay! We were amazed at how tranquil and scenic it could be in busy Vietnam! Our room had a bath with a balcony overlooking the veld, great pool and good breakfast.

Hidden Gem
We enjoyed a very lovely stay at the Odyssey Hotel. It may be the best kept secret in the area with the location just a short walk over the bridge from Old Town and tucked away at the end of a quiet street. The entire staff was so welcoming and extremely helpful in assisting us with tours, shuttle service, tailors, laundry, you name it - there was nothing that the front desk couldn't do to assist. It made our short trip in the area even more wonderful. The staff were especially kind and thoughtful in helping us celebrate my husband's birthday. The rooms are so spacious, spotless, and have so much natural light. Very comfortable stay and by far one of, if not the, top places we have stayed at during our month of travels. Thank you so much for a terrific stay!

This property has a great location as it is only a couple minute motorbike ride to old town, but has the advantage of being ever so slightly removed from the congestion of Old Town. The rooms are quite new and modern yet maintain provincial Vietnamese charm. As I stepped out onto my balcony I overlooked and the Thu Bon River, and an undeveloped marsh. Staff more than helpful. Motorbikes were easy to rent (there’s a place directly neighboring the hotel). I would definitely return to this property when venturing to Hoi An in the future.

Great location. Amazing nature sounds at night
The location is awesome! It is in front of a field by the river. The sound of nature at night is amazing. Definitely get a room at the front with balcony. We could see water buffaloes from our room. Pool is great. Breakfast is great and the lady that was serving s every morning even remember our choices. Great cold milk chocolate! The bikes are great to use, as it is very close to the old town, and is an easy city to cycle. Definitively use their bikes! The only thing I didn't like is that the lift was always dirty with finger marks and sweaty backs!

While it is not actually a beachfront property, river or ocean, it is a wonderfully friendly, clean hotel. It is just far enough away from the bustle of Hoi An to be a bit of a retreat. Free bicycles make it a 5 minute trip to the old.city... as well as free shuttles to and from town and a lovely sand beach. Great food. Incredible service.

The rooms are lovely, clean and feel brand new. I stayed 5 nights here and was super comfortable, breakfast had good choice so you could change it up if you felt like it, although I enjoyed pancakes and fruit and a sweet vietnamese coffee everyday. Anyway, so far so good. But what makes this hotel excellent? The staff. The girls and guys at reception were so friendly and helpful and really went above and beyond for me. I can't thank them enough, I truly looked forward to coming down and chatting to them about my day ahead every morning! Thank you!

Fantastic hotel - we had a large honeymoon suite room - service from all staff was excellent during our 7 day stay - used the free minibus to the hidden beach and the bikes to explore the paddy fields around Hoi An - walked into town every evening only 10 mins to the market area. Pool area great for relaxing dip and drinks late afternoon - would stay again if returning to Hoi An -

Very good hotel, but with loud roosters at night
The room is clean, tidy and in good condition. The hotel staff are helpful and cheerful (which is not always the case in Vietnam). The only issue is that the roosters were crowing all night. If you stay at the cheapest room, you will probably hear it alll night. Luckily I reflected the issue to the reception, and was upgraded to a quieter room for my remaining two nights. Again, DO NOT book the cheapest rooms, since your sleep will very likely be disrupted by the non stop roosters. And they are loud!

Very welcoming polite staff
The most friendly and welcoming staff I ever seen. The room was beautiful and clean, decorated with nice details like cute porcelain. Cozy environment and nice breakfast. I loved the location too. The hotel is in a quiet street 5 min car ride from the Ancient Town, 10 min bike ride. They offer free bicycles so you can ride to town. I was very impressed with the staff. Wish all the other hotels we stayed were like Odyssey!

The staff at Odyssey were absolutely fantastic from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We enjoyed a 7-night stay in August and loved every second of it. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, while the view from the balcony was great. The pool offered a lovely place to relax and unwind. The breakfast was excellent with a vast selection. If we came back to Hoi An we would return to Odyssey!

A fantastic stay
It was our honeymoon so we decided to go for one of the honeymoon suites and we loved it. The staff were so friendly and sweet and even helped my husband get a surprise cake organised for my birthday! This hotel is a short walk to the old town and markets (10 mins roughly) but we made use of the complementary bicycles a lot and it only took a few minutes to cycle. We found everything to be reasonably priced and actually made use of the mini-bar for this reason (which we wouldn’t normally). The room was very comfortable and fresh feeling with a balcony overlooking the rice fields, river, pool and we could just about see the old town too around the corner.

We stayed three nights. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the old town - all its shops and restaurants, though there is a courtesy bus if you need it. The staff were lovely - helpful and friendly. the room was large and spacious well equipped except for a lack of storage space for folded clothes. The restaurant did very decent food.

Great place for a few days in Hoi An
This place is a great value with a terrific breakfast. Nice quiet area next to the river and a short bike ride or walk to old town. Great pool-side drink specials. I'd pass on eating other meals in the restaurant; there are so many amazing places to eat in town.

Great hotel in the quieter part of Hoi An.
We were a family of 2 Adults and 2 children who really enjoyed our stay at the Odyssey. The staff were friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean and beds very comfortable and large. We had interconnecting rooms which gave us great space. Kids loved the infinity pool and we all enjoyed riding the free bikes into the ancient town. Overall we loved our 4 night stay here and would highly recommend it to those who enjoy the quieter side of Hoi An.

We stayed 4 nights in the "Jr Honeymoon Suite". The visual appeal was great but the functionality of the room left things to be desired. "Suite" was a little overstated. Though the room was generous in size, the bathroom sink, tub, bed area, chairs and small table were all in one area (open concept). Bathroom mirror lighting was poor as was the bedroom lighting. There were 7 ceiling lights - either all on or all off. The only other lights in the room were one small spot attached to each side of the headboard. There is one sink with little counter space. The back of the king size bed had a shelf for keeping toothbrush, toiletries, etc. the mattress was medium firm - a little too much so for my preference. The bed has an extended frame around its surcumfirance that we kept bumping our shins on. Positive things: many English channels on the TV including 2 movie channels. Corner room with glass doors on both sides and access to a small balcony. There are no screens - the unit is on the second floor, we were uncomfortable to leave the doors open to avoid mosquitoes from entering. The suite has universal plugs in all the sockets so no adapters are required. There is a nice walk-in shower. The pool is small and located outside the restaurant which might be uncomfortable for some. The restaurant serves breakfast (included), lunch and dinner. We ate a very good dinner there. The hotel is located 0.8 miles from ancient town, a little more remote than some may desire.

Great Hotel close to Hoi An ancient town
This a great hotel for a few days stay close to Hoi An. The location is really good with just a 15 minutes walk to Hoi An ancient town, but still very quiet! You can rent bicycles for free. Some even have a kids seat! The breakfast was very delicious! The pool was fun for a quick dive!

Friendly and quiet hotel
We stayed as a couple and with our 12 year old son for 4 nights in January, 2017. The hotel is about a 5 min (flat and easy) bicycle ride from the centre of Hoi An (the hotel provide bicycles free of charge to use whilst staying there). We stayed in a family duplex room with the queen bed upstairs and a fold out single downstairs. There is a sitting area for watching TV and the shower, toilet and vanilty are downstairs. All the staff from check in to check out were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good and had everything you needed. The pool was clean and nice to relax around after a day out. The hotel is located on Cam Nam Island which is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An old town, but still within easy walk or ride to many restaurants, shopping and markets. I would definitely stay here again and Win (the Manager) makes the effort to talk to everyone and help with anything that is needed.

Amazing Hotel, definately stay here!
We had an amazing stay at odysey hotel in hoi an. It was recommended to us by another couple and we were not dissappointed. The staff couldnt have been more helpful. Fab rooms, pool, free bikes which are perfect to get into town fast from the hotel, brilliant breakfast! Even let use use all the facilities on or last day and get ready in a room before leaving in the evening. Definately stay here if you are looking for a lovely hotel in Hoi an!

Excellent Hotel Stay
It was peaceful and relaxing stay, a good respite from traffic and noise at Ancient Town. Staff were excellent in their service attitude. The buffet breakfast was very good in quality and spread was wide. Staff checked frequently and topped up even though it was near end of breakfast time. Menu changed daily and we enjoyed a new spread everyday. View from the dining area was also good. Could see the mountains and the farmland with cows grazing. Room was very clean and spacious, good walking space and because it was connecting, we had use of 2 bathrooms unlike most family rooms we stayed previously. We enjoyed dipping in the pool which had a jacuzzi at the shallow end after a hot day and long walks.

Great new hotel in quiet location
This is a great hotel a little out of town which is lovely & quiet whilst still being an easy walk/bike ride in. Staff are very attentive & always greet with a smile. Just as a side note we (family of 4) stayed in a duplex suite which has a mezzanine level which sleeps the parents. Children sleep on the bottom level, which also has the bathroom & toilet so if you need to go to toilet in the middle of the night you will need to negotiate steep stairs & not a lot of head clearance if you are tall. this didn't ruin our stay but personally I would try to book interconnecting rooms instead if available.

After arriving late we were great so warmly. Informative and friendly staff. Pool was great easy walk or ride to town. Would definately recommend. Hoi An you must visit such a beautiful place.

Value for money hotel with pool
Hotel is almost new , staff are very helpful and friendly , breakfast selection good, although the coffee was VERY STONG. Had a nice pool and trips to the private beach are also available Free bike hire to cycle up town , 5 mins , The price we paid was value for money , my only grouch was the WIFI signal in our room kept on cutting out, room 303, staff did get me connected in the room but the signal was so week I couldn't watch ITunes etc , They would change room towels early evening which was appreciated

Vi havde 4 dage i Hoi An og boede alle nætter på Odyssey - det var det helt rette hotel for os! Perfekt beliggenhed i gåafstand til den gamle bydel, gratis udlån af cykler og lækker morgenmads buffet med udsigt til poolen. Personalet er så venlige og altid klar til at hjælpe med hvad som helst :-) Stor anbefaling herfra!

Le lieu est calme. L’hôtel est un peu en dehors du centre mais à seulement 15min à pied ou bien à 5 min en vélo. Les vélos sont gracieusement prêtés par l’hôtel. Le personnel est attentionné et au petit soins avec tout le monde. La nourriture est excellente. Nous y sommes allés en couple. Si vous désirer faire un séjour à Hoi An, nous vous conseillons vivement cette hôtel.
