Chose to stay here because prices were cheap, and it was close to the airport claiming to offer breakfast and shuttle service. DO NOT STAY HERE. There are much better options literally in the same parking lot for comparable prices.
I called in the morning to confirm arrangements for an airport shuttle. Was told to call the same number once I arrived at DFW. At 8pm after landing I called 8 times over the span of 30 minutes. Nobody ever answered. I finally gave up and was forced to take a cab which charged me $27 for a 9 minute ride. The driver actually wanted to charge me $35 dollars even though the transportation concierge confirmed it would be the minimum fare ($27)… the driver then proceeded to scream and rant and verbally abuse me for the entire ride to the hotel.
Upon arriving at the hotel, very shaken and frustrated, I explained to the woman doing check ins what had happened she simply responded “yeah, everyone’s been calling lots” and when asked what was going to be done to rectify the situation replied “there’s nothing we can do”. How about compensate for the wasted nearly $30 because you and your establishment did not provide the services you claimed you would?
“Breakfast” consists of Luke warm pots of coffee and water for tea, a box of granola bars half dumped on the counter, and two broken juice jugs that I didn’t even try as there was a dirty room towel they have shoved underneath for who knows how long to catch the drips and spills.
Enjoy your stay, right?
