Perfect place for families

This house was perfect for what we needed over the Thanksgiving holiday. The pool table and ping pong was a huge hit and the kids toys were above and beyond what we could have expected. We walked to local restaurants and Krogers was literally down the street. We would rent here again.

Great place with super location

We could have stayed at this great home for days. This home had everything we needed for our stay and the kids enjoyed the ping pong table and pool. Excellent communication with the owners. I have already shared this great find with others. Decor was so well done and comfortable beds.

This house was great for us. It was clean, easy to park at and centrally located. We came to Dallas for a Dallas Stars game and this house was a perfect location about 8 minutes away. The hosts were very responsive and great. We had three little kids and it worked out perfectly.

This property was a great place to get away. They made great use of all the space they have. It has a great courtyard to hang out in with a jacuzzi tub and games to play. We had a teen birthday party and all the kids loved it. Thanks Kate!

Great Location!

In addition to being conveniently located near shopping and restaurants, this home is one of the cleanest VRBO homes I've ever stayed in. The grocery store and your heart's desire for eateries are less than two blocks away. The only downside was not having instructions to operate the thermostat, and I woke up to a 64-degree morning...Brrr. That's on me for not contacting the host. It's on my list of top places to stay in Dallas.

Great House!

We wanted to experience the Uptown district restaurants This place was literally minutes away from it all.. We Ubered everywhere and Uber was always a 1 to 2 minute wait which was amazing. The home was beautiful inside and out. The hot tub was amazing. The ping pong and pool table was a nice touch. I would VRBO this again! Communication with the Hosts was easy accommodating and fast. Thanks so much.. We will be back!

Shady area

Once inside the house, it really was enjoyable, but the neighborhood did not feel safe, the hot tub had no water in it and the fire pit outside didn’t work. After parking in the garage, you have to walk around the entire property to bring your stuff in through the gate and there were homeless people pushing carts, smoking and staring at us as we hurried inside. Didn’t feel safe at all. The master shower is so small you can barely rinse off and one of the bathrooms upstairs has a tub only with no shower. The ping pong table and pool table were a huge hit for the kids and the living room and kitchen area were nice with good TV’s throughout. The kids had a great time, but I don’t think we would stay there again mainly because of the neighborhood and safety concerns.

Adorable house but needs attention to function

To start with, the house is cute as a button. Lovely design but I think it would help if the owners spent a few nights there and focused on comfort and function of the home. House was ‘clean’ when we got there but they don’t seem to check on things between guests, for instance, there wasn’t enough propane to use the grill. The water filter light was on so we couldn’t use the ice. They have rugs on top of carpet upstairs and the rugs aren’t flat, so they were both dirty and a trip hazard. Beds had sand in them and were sprayed with some incredibly strong scent that required washing twice to get outNot having the garage doors open is an enormous pain. Had to walk all the way around the house to put the garbage out.Guest room switches are behind the head boards and it is a ridiculous pain to try to use them. No working lamp upstairsBathroom with tub has no place to hang towelsDishwasher is not anchored. Almost fell overNo extra towels or sheets which meant I had to stay up late washing sheets from the ghastly scent. And there are no bath rugs - just one bath mat per bathroom with no grip. Scary getting out of the tub. Sheets and pillows were crummy quality. 100% cotton sheets from Costco would be better and healthier. There was more but this is enough. House needs a refresh and some TLC.
