Perfect Getaway

My family stayed at this condo for a month and it could not have been better. The location is perfect, the condo has everything you need, the owners were responsive and helpful. We had an amazing time and would definitely rent again.

Peace and quiet

The location was ideal. A short walk to the beach. Spacious kitchen, updated bathrooms, large bedrooms. Cool summer breezes.

Perfect Apartment

This is a great apartment. We had an amazing holiday in Dana Point and this was the perfect base to come back to everyday. It looks just as the photos show and has everything you can need to make it comfortable. Great location to Strands Beach (my favourite) and walkable to some of the restaurants at the top end of PCH. Robert was easy to contact and responded promptly when needed. We had a great holiday and definitely hope to return.

A perfect location; A beautiful home away from home.

This is our second rental in the area and this one was perfect. Ernie & Robert have done a beautiful job of caring for your arrival and stay. You'll find everything you need in the kitchen, all kinds of amenities for the beach (boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas) and the most beautiful beach and bath towels. The decorating is new, homey, happy, crisp and uncluttered. We took advantage of the beach, trails and trolleys...and there are few better places to admire a sunset. Enjoy!

Great Location, Great Place, Great Hosts

We often stay at different VRBOs and this one really stood out. From check in to check out the hosts were welcoming, considerate and extremely prompt in replying to our texts. The place is in a great location and it was fully stocked with virtually everything you would ever need. The kitchen was especially set up perfectly and even though we travel with a large kitchen kit we didn’t need it. We felt right at home, everything was comfortable and well organized . It also provided one of the best television options. We will certainly make this our go-to place when we visit Southern CA again.

Our reasons for the 3 star review are basically for quite a few "little" things. Not enough living room furniture when we have guests and it was a bit uncomfortable as well. Only 3 tall glasses (plastic ones were available to bring to pool but I don't like to drink out of plastic). No Tupperware containers or cleaning supplies...we bought our own toilet brush. The grill doesn't work very well and was not cleaned prior to our arrival. The washing machine would go out of balance with almost every load. One of the small wooden deck chairs broke a seat spoke when we sat on it. The vacuum cleaner didn't work so we replaced the belt. Being a 2 month renter, these things are important to us and I'm sure can be easily rectified by the owners.

Lovely trip

Great beach condo

We stayed in this condo for the month of July. We were so comfortable and enjoyed our stay so much. When you open all the doors and windows, there’s a delightful breeze throughout. The owner, Robert, was attentive to our questions and was responsive when needed. This condo is well stocked and a great place to vacation.

Wonderful Property in Convenient Location

We really enjoyed our time in Dana Point these past three months, as an escape from our cold winters in Michigan. The property is up to date, very comfortable, clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed the balconies, which were bright and sunny. We also enjoyed the access to the ocean and trails, which allowed us to enjoy beautiful views and get a little exercise at the same time. We would definitely recommend this little piece of paradise.

Very Upgraded Accommodations

This was our second stay in this condo (each 2 months in duration). It is a nicely upgraded unit and is very bright. We've had other units in the same complex that are original and/or dark, and they just don't compare to this one. The owners are accommodating and reasonable. This location is fantastic as it is close to beach, harbor and downtown Dana Point. The Lantern District in Dana Point is being completely rebuilt and should continue to improve over time. The pool and spa in this complex are excellently designed and are positioned to shelter you from the wind - as a result they can be used even on cooler days. Overall an excellent experience.

Private and inviting

This was a wonderful vacation spot for us. The condo is located in a private part of the complex overlooking a lovely picnic area. The owners had thought out what most people would want and supplied it. It was clean and welcoming. Thank you.

The Perfect Retreat

Stayed at this beach retreat over the holiday season and it proved to be the perfect choice. The condo is nestled in the Niguel Beach Terrace Community of condos--a quiet, charming, safe and friendly area with easy beach access and beautiful sunset views. Robert was a considerate host and checked several times to make sure all was well. The condo itself is well-equipped and tastefully decorated. Loved the master bedroom that offers a little balcony and an ensuite bath. Because I had numerous guests throughout my stay, I appreciated the condo's layout which offered both a sense of closeness but privacy when needed. All in all, this condo was the perfect choice for a holiday retreat. June

Awesome!

This place is great! Better than the description! This was our first booking through this site and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Upon entering, it really is a luxury condo. We had our 1 year old son with us and they had everything we needed for him. Everything you could need was provided. Walking distance to the beach (though it is a hike back up). Nice pool and hot tub area. Great location in Dana point, near Laguna beach. I would absolutely recommend this place and hope to be back soon!

Fine Apartment in a Great Spot

My wife and I spent a week while attending a meeting at the St. Regis. It was just what we wanted, comfortable, modern and efficient, great proximity to a wonderful beach. One question about the wireless internet was answered promptly and correctly.

My favorite place on earth!

This was our 2nd visit to Dana Point and our first time staying in this condo (we stayed in the same complex but different condo). Condo was beautiful and we felt at home. Every morning I made waffles using the waffle maker. We ate breakfast and lunch in the condo and ventured out for dinner. We had every thing we needed to make our stay perfect. Used the boogie boards, umbrella, and beach chairs everyday. The washer and dryer are great. (large capacity) I was able to wash clothes and towels everyday. The extra touches in the condo, wood floors, upgraded bathroom and kitchen make you feel important. I highly recommended staying in this condo you will not be disappointed.

PERFECT !

My family spent a fabulous week in Southern California for our Spring Break. The condo was so great that I didn't want to leave it everyday to go sightseeing in LA. The bathrooms were especially nice. The condo had" everything " that you would need to enjoy your stay there. I would not hesitant to stay there again, as it was everything that we were looking for and more.

Perfect rental for family

My wife, two sons (aged 14 and 12) and I rented this unit for 10 days in March. It was Spring Break in Canada, but I had to work for a couple of days at a conference in Dana Point. So, I brought my family along. It was really one of the best vacations we have ever had. The condo was perfect. Very comfortable, quiet, well decorated and only a two minute walk to the cliffs and beach. Robert was extremely helpful and answered all of our information requests promptly, both before and during our stay. The kitchen is really well equipped. The beach gear was perfect. The condo development's pool and spa were great and there was lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The location provides easy access to Dana Point, Lugana Beach, San Diego and of course LA. I can't say enough about how positive our entire experience with this rental was. It is our new MUST STAY in CA (and we are really picky).
