"We stayed for a few days during the Easter break and wished we had longer. The property was gorgeous with the most beautiful view across the water and a very short wander into town. The beds were comfy, everything was clean and beautifully kept and we had everything we needed. The White Company toiletries were also a really nice touch. "Warm welcome into exceptional accommodation with wondrous views over Dartmouth . A bottle a Prosecco to greet us and all minor problems solved . Absolutely the best place to stay in Dartmouth . An easy walk into town with loads of fun with the locals on the 90 bus back to our accommodation. "

"It was misrepresented in its description and its facilities and the owner eventually just ignored or disregarded my complaints. It was covered front & back with scaffolding due down the next day, it stayed all week along with the noise from 7.30am. There was not as listed a dishwasher, an office, a balcony and a “garden”. It had a dirty patio covered in moss. It was overlooked and food and stones were thrown over.

"We had a wonderful stay at Stoke Lodge hotel - our room was perfect and very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and they went above and beyond, even leaving a card and towel sculpture in the shape of a wedding cake in our room to congratulate us on our wedding anniversary! We enjoyed spending time in the bar which was beautifully decorated and had a great atmosphere and loved using the pool facilities, especially the outdoor pool! Thank you so much!"

"Overall, a love experience. The property was decievingly spacious, clean and filled with great entrainment facilities. An added benefit of a washer/dryer that makes that going back home experience better. Car parking permit included also. A great way to celebrate a significant ceremony in a stunning part of the country. Would highly recommend and stay again when in the area. "

"A lovely three night stay at Downton Lodge. Martin and Andrew are excellent hosts who ensure that they run a guest house with very high standards. Lots of details have been considered to provide everything one might need whilst away from home. Breakfast is cooked very well with high quality ingredients, and the hosts known the area in depth so that they can advise their guests of what to do and see. Overall, an excellent stay."

"Our stay at the Ship in Dock Inn was absolutely perfect! The room was excellent, spotlessly clean, well-equipped with all the amenities, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of everything. The staff were amazing, extremely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit. The bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was exceptional, freshly prepared, and delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, highly recommended!"
