“Lovely small boutique hotel near the quayside with friendly staff and nicely decorated. Very busy with a coffee shop and restaurant on lower ground. Being one of the oldest buildings in the town it has low ceilings, steep stair cases, beams and wonky floors! The bedrooms are spotlessly clean and our bed and pillows were very comfortable. Free WiFi, bottled water, tv, tea & coffee, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and USB plug points besides the bed are included. A couple of rooms are on the……

“Good location and food”

“Lovely birthday trip and excellent stay at this hotel. They upgraded me in a luxury room on my birthday day, they are always be so attentive and willing to help you. I would highly recommend this hotel. This is one of the best choice in UK.”

“The room was very comfortable, the staff were excellent. We loved the ambience and the food There was nothing we disliked except the proximity of the village church which insisted on striking every quarter hour day and night. It was an unusually warm night in October so we had the window open so I would advise using earplugs if the window is open.”

“I have been staying in Dartmouth working for the past 8 months and wish I found this place sooner. It is a lovely room with views and the couple are lovely and very welcoming. This place is better than all the hotels that I have stayed in. Would 100% recommend and happily stay in again.”

“Very comfortable and clean. All equipment for all requirements, as in cooking. The view was amazing. It should be made clearer how steep the steps are up to the hall door.”

“Probably my favourite inn I've ever stayed in. The room was perfect, thoughtful touches everywhere, the location right on the edge of the town centre was excellent, everything the town had to offer was less than a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was 5*. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Great fruit salad with granola and yogurt for breakfast!”

“I called just to confirm that we would be able to go to the office to collect the keys on Sunday and that the office would definitely be open , even had an email confirming this but this was not the case - luckily for us someone in the office was able to call us to confirm the process that we had to take to collect the keys , just as well that we had a signal where we were on the time of the call !! The accommodation was in a very good location with everything close by. The property did need……

“Overall, a love experience. The property was decievingly spacious, clean and filled with great entrainment facilities. An added benefit of a washer/dryer that makes that going back home experience better. Car parking permit included also. A great way to celebrate a significant ceremony in a stunning part of the country. Would highly recommend and stay again when in the area. ”

“The property was in a great location for the town centre. The road is very narrow so be mindful of what size car you have, but we were fine. Only enough parking for one car, so had to park in the park and ride for the other car, but that was easy enough. House is fully equipped, very clean and comfortable and would definitely recommend.”

“Lovely stay. ”
