It’s worth noting that this is a flat upstairs from a convenient store and mechanic shop. “Amazing view but otherwise left much to be desired. There are about 20 steep steps with narrow treads down to the apartment. Carrying luggage up and down was very challenging particularly as Torquay is not the kind of resort that attracts younger guests. Street parking is a lottery with not sufficient spaces for the large number of apartments. From the outside we were actually a bit anxious as some of the other apartment / hotels are run down but the minute you step foot through the door you can see how much time effort and care has been put into your stay.
