「Mo who runs the hotel was very helpful as i had to arrive early as I was going to a wedding before check in time she sorted access to my room as i would be later back. Fiona in the bar was very nice and we had pleasant chat which brought nice end to a great day」
「We had a brilliant stay at Tor Na Coille Hotel in Banchory and would happily return. The standout feature was definitely the team there, every member of the team was incredibly warm, welcoming, helpful, and genuinely made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived. 「We stayed in one of the offsite casa style rooms which was perfect for our family (we were parents travelling with two teenagers). Room was clean and had all we needed for our two night stay. We appreciated the afternoon scones and tea in the main hotel. We were surprised that our rooms didn’t have any housekeeping between our first and second nights so I’m not sure if that was part of the casa room service or not but our request for addition towels was taken care of quickly!」

「The room was spacious and excellently decorated with a lovely 4 poster bed. How romantic! The bathroom was large and we unexpectedly even had a sauna room as well. What a surprise! The tub was enormous but the shower stall was a bit on the small side. Very clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft. It takes getting used to drying one’s hair outside of the bathroom but they conveniently gave us a portable 5x mirror which we placed on top of the heater and just sat on the bed...

「Hotel did not do breakast - thought I had booked bed and breakfast. Turned on the evening to be told they don't do evening meals, member of staff pointed to a microwave and toaster and referenced a shop that was closed to buy stuff. Next evening, a saturday, they were serving evening meals was told they did server evening meals. Whether they only seve meals at the weekend or short staffed I don't know.」
