「When I booked only 3 reviews were available two were 10’s the other a 2. I wondered if the 2 was a curmudgeon and if the 10’s were friends. Not a lot of other choices so I took the chance. This will now become my go to when traveling to Schenectady. It’s a studio (not a one bedroom) that is well laid out, clean and nicely decorated. 「Second time here. The house is cute outside and in. Cozy feel. Nicely decorated kind of like a cabin. The loft upstairs is nicely decorated and comfortable. The screened in porch is great for morning coffee or just sitting and reading or visiting. The kitchen is adequately stocked. Never used the tv. We forgot water so it was nice to have a few bottles there. It’s a nice country setting. Very Close to thatcher park . 17 minutes to pretty alright breakfast club restaurant. So worth it. Go early...

「Fantastic cottage! Neighbors hardly around and deck large and comfy. The enclosed porch was huge and allowed card game fun! My 92 year old Mom was craving quiet and peaceful lake vibes and this cottage was perfect. New large Roku tv was great! Comfy couches and well equipped kitchen! The owner John was quick to respond to questions before we got there so I knew what to bring. Easy parking and no step in. THANKS John!」

A bonus was the property connects to Bessie Woods and we were able to go for a hike on the trails without even having to leave the property.
