“Room door didn’t even lock”

“We found stuff from someone else's stay under one of the beds, which made me question cleanliness. Also, we were disappointed to find there is no elevator, as we are both disabled.”

“The room was extremely clean. We did it at the last minute, so we were a little afraid if it was really gonna be as good as the review said, but it was and we had a great time.”

“This was the worst best western I’ve ever stayed at. The beds were uncomfortable and the air conditioning unit made so much noise it was difficult to sleep. The pool was heated to an uncomfortably warm temperature and the pool room was excessively humid. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and helped in resolving an issue that was not theirs to resolve, so I appreciate the staff for sure. This property is in dire need of upgrades, or to call it what it is and adjust the price……

“The lady at the front desk was super nice when we checked in, so our first impression was good. And, it could have stayed that way if there wasn't a pile of dirt in both corners by the dresser in our room. Clearly, the room had just been marginally/incompletely swept and never mopped. It just gave us a yuck impression although the sheets seemed clean. The grounds were just weeds and cigarette butts. Stayed around 4th of July so were subject to FOX "news" in the breakfast room telling us……

“The room was not very clean. Lights very dim. There was an ice bucket but no ice in the whole place. The Arbys next door was glad to give us ll the ice we needed at no charge, they said this happens alot. The next morning the breakfast was not good. When we went to checkout, no one working to complain to.”

“Room was ok. Plenty of parking. A/C never got cold so that wasn’t fun. Breakfast good. Shower wasnt clean. Place was ok to rest for the night and travel on.”

“Pros: Enjoyed a cocktail at the reception desk, a really nice experience after a long drive. Nice location, easy walking distance to town. Good Mexican food at Felix’s. Mattress, towels, linens, soap, shampoo etc all high-quality. Great light but satisfying breakfast: yogurt parfait, good coffee. Cons: Receptionist was efficient though not terribly friendly. Air conditioner was noisy enough that it affected our sleep. It’s something I mentioned to the owners via a text that they never responded……

“Not recommended to stay here during summer months. The only airflow is from having windows open but there aren’t any screens on them so bugs come in. The house has lots of character but feels unattended to, lots of spider webs and spiders and the bathroom had hair all over the ground and shower. There was also an open area in the bathroom wall which allowed clear visibility from the upstairs looking down into the bathroom (shower entrance) area. That was very uncomfortable and we recommended……

“Place was very clean and was super easy check in process. Ms Hanna made it so easy on arrival and made some amazing drinks at the bar. Will stay again soon.”
