Everything wrong with corporate ownership of short term rentals. The check in is super late (4:00 PM) and the check out is super early (10:00 AM) just so they can try to nickel and dime you for an early check in or late check out. There is no local host to give you recommendations. The house itself is decent although we did find dead mice in the pool. Overall decent property, but not so great host…

Sweet little stay!

This house was a great option for our family’s weekend vacation. The pool, views and interior were beautiful, just what we needed to enjoy a sunny day relaxing by the pool.

Enjoyed our stay. Host was super responsive. Place was clean and nice. Had a great pond behind it for a little fishing for our son. Quiet area! A bit far from Frisco or Dallas but very nice place.

Very Disappointed - Business Trip Interrupted

This is not the experience I wanted or deserved or should be required to pay. We choose this home for a work retreat for an entire week and was having a tough time getting thru the first 24 hours. On arrival the first night, unable to use grill. Unable to use fireplace. Noticeable odor. Noticeable flies in the living room and bedroom that never went away. I was very excited about the stay and I would have just preferred that everything would just be ready on arrival. First day, as i arrive back to the home from the store, there was a construction company working on the home, was on top of the roof and I had to ask them to move so that I can park my car in the garage. Very unexpected and unwanted and scary. Second day, I'm outside working and another contractor is now parked out front and coming to service the pool. I sent him away because I was not properly dressed. I noticed later that the host sent an email at 6:29am to inform me that pool service would be happening that day. There was no specific time of day provided. Also in the email i was informed “ Once cleaned, if you find that the water level is low, we kindly ask you to please turn on the hose valve for an hour or two, and please don't forget to turn it off.” I checkout out of the home the second day and asked for a refund. I planned and paid to stay for a week and was unable to do so. I had to check out early, find and pay to stay somewhere else because of the experience at the home. The refund was denied.

Pick, pick, pick

Be prepared to share intimate details about your plans and who may visit the property - and be sure the host approves. Most of the communication was to dig for details that may result in additional charges. And, each morning and evening, someone parked on the street and appeared to "monitor" the property. This was not the place for me.

Was perfect for the eclipse

The property was as described and it was perfect for us. We cancelled our plans to go to an eclipse gala because we could sit outside by the pool with a pitcher of drinks, without a crowed, and watch the eclipse. Later, we had space to play fetch with the dogs. I would stay at the property again.

Great Pool Weekend

My wife and I checked in after booking only a day or two in advance, just wanting to have a quiet weekend by the pool. We found the home to be very tastefully appointed with nice amenities. The pool was very relaxing and the neighborhood super quiet. All in all, it was a perfect and easy weekend for a relaxing getaway!

UNT House

The house is funky but nice. Neighborhood is lovely and the views are great. A lot of flies in the house but otherwise a great place. I would likely stay again.
