Holiday Inn London - Kensington High St. by IHG

10/10 Excellent
"Excellent customer service, staff great. Lovely room, beautifully clean and really comfortable bed with different types of pillows. Shower superb with great body wash and shampoo. Thank you for complimentary water and snacks. Breakfast very good. Bread and pastries so incredibly fresh. Cooked breakfast good but tepid in temperature (eggs should be piping hot, etc). Coffee not bad. Restaurant canteen style and felt like the hotel was ‘feeding the massives’. Overall very likely to choose this hotel again when staying in London."

Brit Hotels Earls Court

Brit Hotels Earls Court

10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is amazing. I'd rather stay here than at any five-star hotel in Mayfair. Here is why: 1. Excellent value. For under £100 a night for a single or double room, you won't find anything better priced in London. 2. Location. 3. The garden and coffee area are great places to sit and work or eat, and, as you can bring in food from outside, this represents an excellent cost advantage over being forced to pay for expensive cafe or restaurant food as at other hotels. 4. Cleanliness. The cleaning is done to a very high standard. When you arrive, take a look at the inside of the kettle in your room; it looks like the inside of a surgical unit. 5. The staff. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is no stuffy formality, and they really go out of their way to make guests feel like family."

The Drey - Kensington, Earl's Court

The Drey - Kensington, Earl's Court

10/10 Excellent
"This is an amazingly convenient property. 3 minutes from the tube/Underground stop (I walk fast). Classic architecture, modern, update, well appointed accommodations. You communicate with staff primarily through a live chat (AI assisted but you work directly with a staff member). This results in very rapid responses to requests or questions. Professional and courteous. This is great for business travelers like me who like to weave into the fabric of the local community. Getting to know local shop owners, neighbors, other travelers, and generally seamlessly integrating into the local community. The room was private, quiet, and very comfortable. You do need to be comfortably ambulatory for many of the rooms, so confirm if you have any physical barriers. The check-in, eKey access, and check-out are seamless AND quick. You do need to ensure that you read any communications sent prior to check-in, and follow any secure messages that are sent to you. There are specific instructions tailored to your visitor profile and you may need to complete some pre-arrival tasks. Otherwise, it may slow down the check-in process. Read any and every note sent prior to arrival and you will encounter zero issues. My "Roost" labeled room was exactly that. My quiet and comfortable sanctuary at the end of long and busy work days in the office. Enjoy!!"

Safestay London Kensington Holland Park

Safestay London Kensington Holland Park

8/10 Good
"I returned to the hostel after a long break. I used to love it a lot ... but then saw many bad reviews. However, reviews have generally improved over past month or so. I was quite happy with my stay. Clean room & staff were friendly, ESPECIALLY a young Italian lady who was so helpful, when she was in during day hours. Only problem is that, I, like many previous guestswho were very unhappy, also found that, on arrival I was moved to a different room from my booking - which is apparently !! under maintenance. I especially was not happy with the change to a room with no en-suite bathroom (from what I had booked!). This was changed on my request! (I understand that some previous reviewers were NOT allowed to question their new room! Further, charging an extra £2 per night for a bottom bed is definitely a first-time ever experience... after staying 40+ hostels in over 10 countries. It does not make sense at all ... !!"
