Arrived at 8:00 am could not check in early had to wait til 4:00 pm exactly someone actually was there at 3:58 pm to inspect, I felt like he was trying to see if we came early! Only stayed Friday thru Sunday got a text while we were out at beach maintenance was stopping by at 4:00 pm to drop off two chairs that were broken didn’t have them on Friday I feel like they should’ve waited until Sunday at 10 am to bring but said he will let himself in so I feel like that was totally unnecessary Just not overall happy with I guess people maintaining property But it is a great location Mattresses and pillows need replaced worn out But it held a family of 8 No outside table for dining as shown in pictures but we did have a good visit

The property was in good shape. Clean, no bugs. The carpets need to be washed and the bed frame in one of the rooms is broken. Thicker blankets are needed, so bring some since the apt gets very cold at night. Two pans are provided for cooking and silverware (other kitchen items too but those are the essentials for making breakfast at home). Smaller than what the pictures seemed. Safe location, extremely close to the beach, Publix and Walmart, and great restaurants and shops. Clean towels provided but not beach towels so bring your own. The dryer is alright, washer works well but both are small. One of the recliners is broken but the couch is comfortable enough. We enjoyed the beach everyday and the pool, which is also an extremely short distance away from the unit. When we arrived, the toilet was leaking but once we contacted them via the DACK app, it was fixed within the hour. Fridge and microwave work well. Overall, a good stay.

We spent 5 nights and it really met all our expectations. If the system would allow, I’d reduce the rating by half a star because the mattresses are not great. I know it’s expensive to replace for rentals but it’s the cost of business — they are very worn down. Otherwise, it was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed. I liked the fridge had an ice maker so we didn’t have to do ice trays. The location cannot be beat with access to the beach right across a small street. The pool was great and we were alone there most times. Great features: lovely patio that we used daily, easy parking, super close beach access, room for many people with all the beds, washer dryer (dryer might need some work), lots of plates and utensils, nice quiet pool. Nitpicks (seriously these are just nitpicks that we were able to get along with): needs to improve mattresses, bathrooms are clean but anyone over 5’5” has to bend really low for bathroom sink, the provided body wash and soaps are super poor quality-bring your own, access to plugs in the bedrooms are not easy for people with CPAP and those wanting to plug in chargers - an extension power strip would have been great, night table in 2nd room barely held what I needed next to the bed, tvs worked but you are limited to the Dish channels, it says there as Netflix available but somehow the internet wasn’t connected and we didn’t have time to figure it out.

We stayed in this exact unit about 10 years ago and we were excited to stay again with the convenience of it being on the ground level with young kids ages 1, 4, and 6. It was not clean, the pans still had eggs stuck on them, the doors were rotted on the porch and maintenance had to come fix those, the dryer takes about 5 rounds before your clothes are dry, one of the queen beds was so used it is permanently had a sinking spot visible just walking into the room. We couldn’t use the bunk beds because the mattresses were so thick they were equal to the guardrails so the kids would fall off onto the tile floor. The unit has alot of wear and tear to it and needs some TLC! The location is amazing, being on the corner floor unit with kids is so convenient, the pool and hot tub are so clean and with great friendly staff! Neighbors were super kind too. Overall an amazing trip, just wish the unit was better kept up with cleanliness and updates.

The unit is bright with end unit windows! And you can see the ocean inside and outside the unit. It was clean and comfortable. Could use a little refresh with paint on baseboards. Close to shopping, grocery stores etc. The maintenance person Randy was very helpful and attentive. Would stay there again for sure!!

Family vacation
The location with young children was perfect. The condition of the condo was another story. Not visibly clean, almost like a lick and a promise. The floors were DIRTY. Due to the fact that we paid full price and the August rates had dropped, the condo was not clean in many places. Dishes, under the sofa, the outside of the refrigerator, the waste baskets, placemats, these are just a few things to mention. The dryer took 4 times to restart to dry one load. Even though we did call maintenance and they promptly came out, didn't dry even the smallest load and with four kids it was a lot of tending to the dryer in the evenings. It was very disappointing. Housekeeping was poor but also maybe the owners need to know so they can hunt for a new cleaning crew. The location was amazing. You could see the ocean from the kitchen and from the patio which was great for coffee and drinks. The upper level was NOISY but they went to bed around the same hours. But you could hear them at 6am everyday with very heavy feet. We wouldn't stay here again as the pictures were fabulousand the actual property were very disappointing and our price was double plus what others in the condo complex paid. The pool was great though very hot due to the time of year but again LOCATION AND EASE WITH CHILDREN was perfect. THERE WERE NO BUGS though they sprayed during our stay. They did have beach toys on the side of the house but the patio furniture was very uncomfortable and rusted out.

This first floor condo was perfectly located across the street from the beach access. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor covered patio was perfect for coffee in the morning. You will need to bring some basics like salt/pepper, paper towels and toilet paper.

Great Location!
The place was clean and appeared to be updated. It had all the amenities we desired for our vacation. But what was really fantastic was the location. Just a short walk and you are on the beach. This area of beach is not extremely busy, as compared to other areas, which was really nice. It is also not too far of a drive to restaurants, shopping, boardwalk, etc. If we come back to Destin area we will for sure look for this unit.

Check in was easy. Parking is OK. House was great size for 5 people. Cleanliness of house was OK, but not great. Extra bedding was dirty. Have to rent chairs or pay to put your own chairs on the beach. Save the VRBO fees and book directly through Venture Found.

Perfect little walk to the beach. So close I let my teenagers go without us a couple of times.

Perfect location! Property needs some updates
This is the best location- easy beach access, super short walk to beach. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars overall is bc the bathrooms, carpet and dishwasher. The bathrooms need updated and the master floor got soaked with water every shower… no matter how good we put the shower curtain in. The bedroom carpets need to be replaced, or a good cleaning at the least. The dishwasher had a terrible odor. Luckily we didn’t really cook so it wasn’t needed much. Overall, would recommend if you are ok with these few issues. It really is a perfect location.

Nice Location, Needs Updates, Deep Clean
The over all location and size of the condo for us, 4 adults and one child, was perfect. When we arrived I was a little thrown off to find that the couches and chairs were worn and seemed dirty and the carpet in the bedrooms needs to be ripped out and tile put in because it was very dirty, I wouldn't let my son walk on it without shoes. The light switches were not wiped down properly and it smelled like someone had just cooked a meal and they covered it with fabuloso, I would've preferred a clorox or bleach scent so I know it was sanitized properly. The shower curtain was dirty and hanging from the ceiling. I was able to call Venture Found and they came immediately and fixed it. The photos online look like they were taken some years ago and all the furniture has taken a beating, the walls need to be cleaned and it just needs some TLC. Cleanliness is a big deal for me so once I got some clorox wipes and lysol spray I was able to relax a bit. The location was great in this condo, just a walk across the street to the beach, the public beach access was super quiet and very beautiful, also the pool is just a couple steps away from the condo. Shopping and restaurants were very conveniently located. Overall I would stay here again especially if they take out the dirty carpets and cover the furniture to where maybe they could be washed between each stay with the linens.

Overall a pleasant experience. Proximity to the beach and the pool were perfect … unfortunately the hot tub was out of service. Check-in was very smooth and we had all the information we needed for adventure and site seeing ideas. I would rent here again.
