We had a wonderful time! Great location, right on the beach. Comfy beds and comfortable stay. Only negative was the musty smell, like the condo needed to be aired out for awhile.

We loved this place! It was everything that was described while booking. Great beach location and service! We had a great time with an awesome view from the balcony. The only issue we had was the fridge door was hard to open at times. It was a very minor issue to us. Overall, I would stay here again and highly recommend this place!

Our windows and balcony were taped on e and unavailable for half of our stay. It would have been nice to be alerted of this possibility before it arrival, and given the opportunity to choose another room in the facility.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two years ago we stayed in this unit and I had to fix the bed on the first night of arriving. Since the front desk was closed I had no choice but to use bed sheets to support the frame from falling apart. The front desk was notified but nothing was resolved before we left. When we arrived a full year later. It was very disappointing to notice the same bed sheets holding the frame together. You should be paying me for a fix that lasted over a year. We will no longer be staying in your unit because of that. Hopefully this will motivate the owners to address the problem.

Grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Unit was clean and has a beautiful view. Kitchen items were well provided.Cons: Some of the furniture was worn and needs to be replaced. The couch was very uncomfortable and the bed pillows are very flat (woke with neck aches).

The Condo was great and clean for my family of 5. Loved the fact that it’s walking distance to the beach and in the morning you can look out the patio and soak in all the beauty of the ocean while sipping on coffee. I would definitely get this Condo again! Very family friendly.

We stay at The Islander every time we go to Destin. This was our 5th time. We stay in a different unit every time and we haven’t had a bad experience yet. The rooms are always so clean and smell good. And decorated so cute! We will always stay at The Islander!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’m happy to say the condo was clean upon our arrival and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We had a few issues so I called the number given and explained that we had a clogged bathroom sink and a broken toaster. They brought us a brand new toaster and fixed the clogged sink the same day. The only thing that I would have liked was an ice maker in the refrigerator or ice trays to make ice. Also access to a washer and dryer in the condo would have been nice too. They were located on the second floor and 3 of the 6 washers was out of order along with 2 of the 6 dryers. Otherwise this is a great location and a great condo.

One of the main reasons we chose this property was the tennis courts on site which were unplayable!!!!! Also extremely pricy for a condo with no in unit laundry! Not sure how you can in good conscience advertise and charge for amenities that aren’t accessible! Also condo was extremely dusty, not great cooking utensils/pans and there was sand in both of the twin beds….not sure they even changed the sheets.
