“Loved this property, would rank one of top 3 VRBO’s have stayed in ever!Clean, convenient…moments to downtown Defiance, retail stores, and restaurants. Can’t say enough good about The Aviator’s Lounge…atmosphere great, from large screen TV’s to the wonderful Maytag Washer-Dryer. Awesome kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom (shower plenty of pressure)!Bottom line our new Defiance go to when visiting! Loved it!”

“We truly enjoyed our stay! The owners were very organized and were responsive to our questions. The house was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed playing volleyball and pickleball at the new amenities across the street. We rented a pontoon boat for 1 day and enjoyed spending time on the lake. I highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to explore Nettle lake.”

“Our family had a wonderful time! The home was beautiful, even better than the pictures. The entire home is well thought out and has everything you could need in the kitchen. We loved sitting around the fire pit each evening. Our days were spent in the water. Swimming, using the provided rafts and kayaks. We had a truly relaxing and enjoyable time! Mike and Sue were kind and quick to respond with any questions we had. We would highly recommend this home! ”

Our family traveled from TN, Fla, and NC for our son’s wedding that was located in Ohio. We hosted the rehearsal dinner with a success. “Great property and what an amazing town! This house is loaded with cool antiques but with all the modern conveniences. Like the town, this house appears to be fairly old with internal brick walls in some rooms. It sparked a discussion about how the house evolved over time. Right on the Maumee River (beautiful!), next to a park and literally walking distance (2-5 minutes) to all of the downtown which has a number of cool little shops and businesses. Wish we could have stayed longer! Best……

“Place was okay, location is good if you want to be in Leo. I specifically asked about stairs into and around the house. My mom has a bad knee and needs knee surgery. There were no photos so I reached out to the owners and was ensured that there were only a few small steps. I'm sorry, but that was misleading. There are 4 steep steps into the house on the front and back. I would not have booked here if I had been able to see pictures before hand. I've attached some in case somebody in the future……

“It was a lovely stay. The house has some broken cabinets and very uncomfortable pillows but the pool was lovely and we had a great time.”
